Hasta la vista, Atlanta. It’s time to say hello to Hollywood. Last night was the premiere of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. In case you missed it, Soulja Boy hasn’t gotten any smarter (nor have the ladies who love him), Hazel E isn’t making better decisions, and Ray-J is every bit as whiny as you remember if…if not more. The episode begins with Teairra Mari, Moniece, and Apryl Jones are lounging on the beach, with Moniece revealing she’s in a relationship with a new man who shall remain nameless–for the time being at least. Teairra has washed her hands of her relationship with Ray-J, and the women revel in the gossip of Princess’ recent arrest in New Orleans on the heels of an altercation with Ray. Apryl, sporting a new nose ring, interjects to say she’s planning a post-baby party, but she’s invited her new friend Princess. Teairra promises that she’ll behave if Princess can do the same. Apryl hopes she’s able to be the bigger person.
Across town, Hazel has ditched her obsession with Berg and is back in the studio with producer Milan. She’s mourning the recent loss of her grandfather and was surprised that former friend Teairra reached out to her after his funeral. Milan has been seeing someone for a while, and he’s ready to get married and start a family. It’s a conversation he needs to have with his love, although he’s not sure how it will be received. He is apparently the antithesis of every other dude on this show.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.

There’s an old saying that when one door closes, another door opens. I am so thankful that holds true with VH1 and the Love & Hip Hop franchise. Sure, this season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is going by way too quickly (seriously…is it shorter than normal?), and I’ll miss Stevie J., Yung Joc, and the crew’s crazy shenanigans, but at least we’ve got Love & Hip Hop Hollywood waiting in the wings! Atlanta may be the fan favorite, but laughing at Ray J squeak through each episode as he talks his tough guy game is a close second!
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait much longer as the sophomore season premieres Monday, September 7th at 8PM/ET. Judging by the previews that have been released, we’re in for quite a treat! In case you were wondering, Ray J and Soulja Boy (I’d forgotten how much he looks like a tatted preteen–adorable!) are still having issues with monogamy. Say it ain’t so! Don’t believe me? Enjoy the preview clips after the jump!

Big Brother and Marriage Boot Camp star Jordan Lloyd shared, “Just sitting in the audience brings back so many memories in the Big Brother house. It’s always great seeing Julie and everyone else who makes this show happen.”
I mean, I don’t know if it’s healthy to have back-to-back nights of any VH1 reunion, but last night’s conclusion to Love & Hip Hop Hollywood left me feeling especially brain dead. Nana seems a bit spent after her twerking shenanigans. Mally Mal is on the stage, and he thinks Masika is a cool chick, but Berg is going to learn soon enough that she’s always after the next best thing. When I close my eyes, Mal’s voice belongs to someone who looks like he could be a character on The Big Bang Theory, not this big guy with the girlishly tweezed eyebrows. Berg warns Uncle Fester to stop talking about him, and Mally puts on his shades and takes off his jacket. It’s the equivalent of a Basketball Wife taking off her heels before going bat shiz cray. Mal and Masika argue over who was using who (whom?) to get on the show. Berg reminds Nikki that he’s the one who got her on the franchise. Masika then reveals that Mally Mal is still in contact with her.
Thankfully we move onto a more sane story line…and that says a lot given it revolves around Fizz, Moniece and Amanda. Moniece, as calm and composed as she is, is clearly certifiable…and stunningly gorgeous. I love that she’s the most well-spoken person on the show, as well as the craziest. As annoying Amanda tries to explain her behavior, Moniece spouts off a list of her amazing qualities and receives a round of applause from her co-stars. Game, set, match…Moniece. Mona revisits Amanda’s infidelities, and Amanda admits that she fell in love with someone else (the other man) after she broke up with Fizz. Fizz reminds her that they didn’t “break up,” he left her sarong-wearing azz. Dear VH1, please don’t make me watch Nikki trying to eat Fizz’ face again. They’re just friends, y’all. #fakerelationshipbymona
Nikki Mudarris shared the picture above on Instagram, adding, “Hazel & Nikki baby #dontpanichoe” and ” #bitchiwillbuyyourlife #coldbitch #lovemyfans.” Following the reunion, Hazel E shared, “I am a good person, but not an angel. I do make mistakes, but I am not evil. I am just a small girl in a big world trying to love purely and stay focused on my music.”
