Real Housewives Of Orange County Recap: Jesus Take Vicki’s Fun Bus License…

On last night’s Real Housewives Of Orange County the morality police came for Gina Kirschenheiter, and if there’s one person who shouldn’t be presiding over other people’s morals it’s Vicki Gunvalson! Especially as Gina’s biggest sin is her tongue-twister of a last name. Errrrr… I mean, that she doesn’t believe in organized religion.

For some reason, everyone is supremely bothered that Gina wants to divorce her husband Matt because they’ve simply fallen out of love. I believe the court’s term for this is “irreconcilable differences,” and that Vicki, Kelly Dodd, and Tamra Judge nee Barney have all pulled the same shenanigan when ditching a husband for being too boring. All aboard the fun bus or bust, right?! And their husbands even lived with them, whereas Matt moved over an hour away and is too busy to see his kids for more than one weekend a month. Um, really??!

Personally I think they’re all aghast that Gina doesn’t appreciate the perfection of her situation – she has all the perks of a husband (who also happens to be hot): sex, financial security, doesn’t need to work, cushy home, nanny, but doesn’t have to put UP with a husband! These women probably do believe that a man who’s completely checked out of his marriage unless he’s depositing cash in the bank account is one worth keeping!

Emily Simpson

The gloves are off! Newbie Emily Simpson is ticked about the hypocritical way things have been handled with her co-stars when it comes to Kelly Dodd. The Real Housewives of Orange County star doesn’t hold back in her latest blog.

Emily starts off, “I am in no way proud of my behavior at Tamra’s party. I feel like any wife who respects her marriage and her husband would have become as irate as I did.” She continues, “However, I am the ONLY one taking any responsibility for my own actions that evening.”

Vicki apologizes to Kelly - insincerely

Love her or hate her, longtime Real Housewives of Orange County viewers cannot deny that Vicki Gunvalson brings a lot to the show. There are Vicki-centered story lines in almost every episode of this show. During the last RHOC episode, Kelly Dodd and Tamra Judge claimed that Vicki’s boyfriend Steve Lodge is only with her for money.

We’ve seen this story line with all of Vicki’s relationships, so there is nothing novel about it, but it still infuriates Vicki as much as it always has.

Tamra Judge

Out of all the husbands (and boyfriends) in Real Housewives history, Vicki Gunvalson’s man Steve Lodge seems to be one of the least opportunistic of them all. However, that’s not what Vicki’s friend-turned-frienemy Kelly Dodd is claiming. She told Tamra Judge that Steve is only with Vicki for her money. Nevertheless, it seem like appearing on Real Housewives of Orange County is the last thing that Steve wants to do.

Of course, Tamra did what she does best: stirred the pot. She told Vicki what Kelly said the next time she saw her. To be honest, that was the right thing to do, especially if Kelly was spreading that around to other people (which she most likely was), but it’s also setting up a major explosion the next time Vicki and Kelly see each other in person. Not only that, but Tamra also questioned if Steve really loved Vicki… even though she just told him to marry Vicki during the previous episode.

Tamra and Eddie

Last night’s episode of Real Housewives Of Orange County was jam-packed, wasn’t it? It went from a literal brawl over Shane of all things, to laughing and crying, and in between people were dating, divorcing, apologizing, and maybe even dating people who are using them for their money! People were also getting their livers probed by an alien from planet moon fingers. Which is perfect because Gina Kirscheheiter literally always looks like a character on Star Trek.

Tamra Judge is in her room, drawing hearts on her ankle boot or something when downstairs Gina is literally wrestling Kelly Dodd and Emily Simpson apart. Over Gina’s head, Emily screams “I’ll kill you!” I mean, it’s only warranted because Kelly called Emily’s husband, Shane, a “prick” a “pussy” and a “twerp” among others.

Emily Simpson screams at Kelly Dodd

The last episode of Real Housewives of Orange County ended with Emily Simpson threatening to “kill” Kelly Dodd after Kelly unknowingly referred to her husband Shane Simpson as a “little bitch.” This was the most exciting moment of this season- by far- so of course the last episode ended with a cliffhanger.

The drama returns tonight with a new episode at 9PM on Bravo. According to an episode description from the Bravo website, we pick up right where we left off: “Tamra’s [Judge] birthday party for Eddie [Judge] ends in shambles after an explosive comment is made.”

Emily Simpson screams at Kelly Dodd

This season of Real Housewives of Orange County is just starting to heat up. The new cast members are finally integrating with the veteran ladies, and by “integrating” I mean “screaming at in the middle of an event.” Emily Simpson earned her stripes as a Real Housewife of Orange County when she stepped into the (metaphorical) ring with Kelly Dodd during the last episode.

Kelly may be the newest veteran Housewife, but going toe to toe with Kelly is far from easy. No one wants to be on the receiving end of a Kelly Dodd tirade, let alone a brand new Housewife. During the last episode of the show, Kelly confronted Steve Lodge about comments he made against her on social media and in interviews. Then, Emily’s husband Shane Simpson stepped in, Kelly called him a “little bitch,” and then Emily threatened to “kill” Kelly. And of course, we were all left with a cliffhanger ending going into tonight’s episode.
