Because, of course, they are! Real Housewives of Beverly Hills might be in a spot of trouble. Filming is currently underway for the show’s 10th season and by all accounts, it is
a bore fest struggling. With rumors of fledgling plot lines and no drama, the troops have been called in.
Last week we learned Camille Grammer was getting back in the saddle to
save the show light a fire underneath the current cast in hopes of upping the theatrics. Today we know other RHOBH alums are now in pa osition to pick up the slack, along with Camille 007. Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards, get ready, it’s your turn to show up and show out.
Whether you agree with the results or not, the people have spoken. The People’s Choice Awards went down on November 10 and there were some big winners in the reality TV categories. And even the people who didn’t win showed up
to get some press enjoy the party.
I’m not gonna lie, I wish I got an invite because there were cast members from some of my favorite shows in attendance and I would just love to see them all interact. Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, The Bachelor, and Keeping Up With the Kardashians cast members showed up for the award show.
Ah, memories. I know there are some hard feelings about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Even Lisa Vanderpump haters were quietly appalled at how things went down last season. It seemed to last forever. We watched in fascination when Kyle Richards challenged Lisa and Ken Todd on their home turf. #goodbyekyle Our jaws dropped as Lisa played her last game of chess and quit. We were told of evil lies and betrayal, but got hung out to dry with no answers or confirmations.
To be blunt, the season was a wash. Fans began to side-eye the all-consuming dog drama and slowly discovered what the players were really hiding. Many viewers found the one saving grace was Camille Grammer Meyer. She rebelled against the #puppygate scandal and did not hesitate to call people out. She pulled certain cast members from their delusion cocoons. She also famously
spoke for all of us advised Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave to “shut it down” when Teddi attempted to speak during the finale party. After a turbulent appearance on the reunion, all of a sudden Camille was gone. As the last hope for anarchy in Beverly Hills faded, the rumor mill started pumping. Bravo doesn’t want Real Housewives of Dullsville! When all else fails, you know what to do! Call Camille Donatacci Grammer Meyer 007.
Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan Edmonds has been very vocal this year regarding problems in her marriage. Back in June, it was revealed that her hubby Jim Edmonds had been sexting a woman who was not his lovely bride. Meghan gave periodic updates on the status of her marriage after the scandal and the couple seemed to be working through things. Of course, all that changed for the Edmonds in late October, when Meghan alleged that Jim had been having an inappropriate relationship with one of the family nannies.
Since then, the media has been full of details of the split between Meghan and Jim. He has veered from angry to conciliatory in statements about his marriage. Meghan blogged about Jim’s alleged inappropriate behavior, claiming he was “drinking and partying with much younger women.” Jim’s ex-wife number two, Allison Jayne Raski, called his marriage to Meghan a “nightmare” her family had to “endure.” His daughter Hayley Edmonds said she had been “waiting” for the divorce. Oh, the drama! Now, two Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies who know a thing or two about drama themselves have chimed in with their opinions on this depressing mess.
The upcoming season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is going to be drastically different. Two of the OG cast members, Lisa Vanderpump and Camille Grammer, will not be there to mix it up and call out the other ladies. Newbies Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke will be there to bring the drama instead. Those are some big Christian Louboutin’s to fill.
Denise Richards had her freshman season this past go around. And I’m sure she has a lot of wisdom to impart on Garcelle and Sutton. Such as how to get know-it-all Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave to stop talking, or ice queen Erika Jayne to start talking. But rumors abounded that Denise wouldn’t play a big part in the newest season due to her busy acting career. Luckily, the rumors aren’t true.
As you know, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is filming it’s first season sans Lisa Vanderpump. As someone with a heavy fan base who have no problems holding a grudge, the current cast will have to step it up. Thankfully we have two new ladies joining the crew. Both friends of Lisa Rinna, Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais are getting their feet wet in the shark pond.
Everyone else will be returning, including Denise Richards. Last year Denise graced us with too many stories about her husband’s alleged massive penis situation but she was mildly amusing and didn’t stir up too much controversy. She seemed to be a bit of a Switzerland kind of gal with leanings towards the Dark Side. So what will Denise bring us this year? Will she find herself huddled under Kyle Richards’ crown? Will she join Erika Jayne’s back-up dancers? Probably none of the above, she’s busy working at her day job.
Oh I can’t wait to read the comments on this one. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave has several things going for her. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom has pretty much secured her bag now that she is Queen Kyle Richards’ new
scapegoat best friend. Another plus for Teddi is that she is one of the few RHOBH cast members not currently involved in litigation. And, now that Teddi and husband Edwin Arroyave have managed to get pregnant, we are getting our first Beverly Hills baby.
The cast is certainly looking forward to Teddi and Edwin’s new addition. I’m sure Dorit Kemsley already has several Balmain onesies being made. Kyle is probably busy
looking for $32 million turning caftans into baby blankets for the blessed event. Teddi has been sharing much of her expectant journey with fans on social media. Now that she only has a few months to go, Teddi needs to decide on a name. Will it rhyme with Smile? In an effort to gain inspiration, Teddi reached out to her followers for suggestions.
We are already a few weeks into the Below Deck season and are starting to get a read on the new crew. It appears that at least a few of the crew members will be stirring up high seas drama. Chef Kevin Dobson has already raised the ire of chief stew Kate Chastain by calling her out for poor service at the first crew meeting. No good can come of that! Plus, Kevin has already stirred up a full season of drama in just two episodes with his intestinal issues. Pity the poor charter guests who are now watching the show knowing that he prepared their food!
Crabby third stew Courtney Skippon whines more than any crew member I have ever seen. What’s so bad about being on a yacht making great money in beautiful Thailand? It’s not like you are serving time in a Russian prison, Courtney! You have to wonder what it would be like to be Captain Lee Rosbach and have to deal with some of these characters. What would happen if he could pick his own dream crew for Below Deck?
