Temptation Island recap

Temptation Island Season 3 Episode Recap:

This week’s episode of Temptation Island brought the conclusion of everyone’s first bonfire. When we last saw the ladies, it ended on a heartbreaking note when Erica Washington admitted she felt less than her boyfriend, Kendal Kirkland, because he made her feel like she wasn’t good enough. Erica, tell Kendal to get up and make his own sandwiches at four in the morning! Host Mark L. Walberg nudged Erica to come back to that place of self love that she had felt earlier. Erica is going to need a lot more therapy sessions with Mark to up her self-esteem, and I really hope she gets there.

Kristen Ramos was shown a harmless clip of Julian Allen getting a half lap dance from one of the singles. Afterwards, Kristen dropped the bomb that Julian did not just cheat on her once, but twice! Mark nailed it when he concluded Kristen was a victim of comfort in her relationship. Erin Smith watched as her boyfriend Corey Sobczyk shared that Erin made him feel like he came second in their relationship. Erin worried she might have realized too late that it’s actually not bad that Corey is different from her. And then it was the guys turn at bonfire, and they had a completely different outlook than the ladies.

Temptation Island Season 3 Episode Recap: He’s Been A Bad Boy

The title of Temptation Island’s second episode, “He’s Been a Bad Boy,” couldn’t have been more fitting to describe the behavior of Kendal Kirkland. Since the premiere episode, it was obvious Kendal was going to be trouble. Case in point, while sitting next to his girlfriend, Erica Washington, Kendal could barely keep his jaw off the floor as the single ladies paraded around introducing themselves. He also left Erica in the dust to throw himself at the other women as soon as they were separated. Poor Erica will be in for a rude awakening this season!

Before we jump ahead to Kendal’s shenanigans, the episode starts off with the couples officially separating from one another. As soon as the boyfriends are out of the picture, all of the single men burst through the door to the girls villa ready to party. None of the women seem particularly thrilled however, especially Erica and Kristen Ramos. On the flip side, as the single ladies swarm the guys villa, all of the guys, minus Corey Sobcyzk, are ready to party. Let the games begin!

Temptation Island is back in action with season three! For those new to the show, four couples who are at a crossroads in their relationship, arrive on a tropical island to be tempted by singles in order to see if there is someone else better for them. At the end of the season, the couples will decide if they want to stay together, leave alone, or leave with one of the singles.

And this new crew has a lot to live up to, as last season was completly unpredicatble. Spoiler alert, all of the couples except for one ended up separating!  At the final bonfire, several people got their groove back, and bravely ended their toxic relationships. But then during the shocking reunion, most of those who said they were happier alone or with someone else, had come crawling back to their old partners. And the couple that did leave together, broke up. Will this new group have the same grim outcome? Or will there actually be some happy endings this time?

Temptation Island Season 2 Episode Recap: Final Bonfire Part 2; The Reunion

As they say, all good things must come to an end. This season of Temptation Island was an incredible thrill ride from start to finish. Maybe not for the couples on the show perhaps, but as a viewer it did not disappoint. Did anyone correctly predict what the outcome for each couple would be? I know I didn’t!

One outcome during bonfire that should come to no surprise was Kate Griffith kicking David Benavidez to the curb. In fact, she didn’t just kick him to the curb, she went full Mortal Kombat and finished him with a flawless victory fatality when she told him not to tell all of America he whored himself out. Good luck cleaning that hot mess up, Toneata Morgan, you’re going to need it.

Temptation Island Season 2 Episode Recap: Final Bonfire Part 1

In a sea of mediocre Real Housewives shows, Temptation Island has been a welcome change. This season has had more twists and turns than anything else I’ve seen as of late. Right off the bat, major drama happened when Ashley Goldson hooked up with KB Brown because Rick Fleur said the cuffs were off. David Benavidez wanted Kate Griffith to trust him, but then he betrayed her by hooking up with multiple women and having a threesome.

Even Casey Starchak’s strategy to win back Ashley Howland from Ben Knobloch was next level. After comparing her to a rat in a box, and saying he didn’t care if Ashley broke up with him, he decided to manipulate her with a “sales pitch” and the diamond ring she had been wanting. So, how will it all end? Thankfully, we have a two part bonfire to wrap this all up!

Temptation Island Season 2 Episode Recap: Tonight Can Change Everything

And now it’s time to say goodbye to Temptation Island, for the singles that is. This is the last chance for them to make their move before the final bonfire where the couples decide if they want to leave the island together, alone, or with someone else. So far, it looks like only Ashley Goldson might want to go home with her boyfriend, while Esonica Veira, Ashley Howland and Kate Griffith will choose to fly solo or leave with someone else.

On the opposite side of things, Gavin Rocker, Casey Starchak, and Rick Fleur seemed to have decided they want to go home with their girlfriends. David Benavidez, as usual, says whatever the person he is with wants to hear, so who knows what he really wants. All I know is, it’s going to be an interesting finale, and no one can be sure of anything.

Temptation Island Season 2 Episode Recap: Role Reversal

I don’t know about you, but I am thankful for Temptation Island! It’s the gift that keeps on giving. There were two surprises for me this episode. First, when Casey Starchak went next level narcissist and spilled his sociopathic scheme to win back Ashley Howland. David Benavidez officially has some competition now about who is the most vile guy on the show. The second surprise was when Esonica Veira hopped into bed with Kareem Thomas! This crushed my hope for her and Gavin Rocker reuniting at the end.

But let’s get back to Casey. He was in shock after watching Ashley H.’s video message. Ashley had thanked him for bringing her here, told him all her insecurities are gone, and she didn’t regret making out with Ben Knobloch. The one tear Casey managed to squeeze out wasn’t from losing Ashley, but from Ashley dumping him before he could dump her.

Temptation Island Season 2 Episode Recap: She Didn’t Say, I Love You

The latest episode of Temptation Island was all about girl power. I could almost hear Ashley Howland, Kate Griffith, and Esonica Veira singing Madonna’s “Express Yourself.” Notably, “You deserve the best in life, so if the time isn’t right, then move on. Second best is never enough, you’ll do much better, baby, on your own.” #Stillholdsup

On the other hand, some of the guys are having the opposite reaction. Namely, Casey Starchak and Gavin Rocker. All of a sudden they’ve realized their girlfriends aren’t so bad after all and they regret bringing them here. When we last left Casey at the bonfire, he assumed the worst when he saw Ashley H. and Ben Knobloch making out in bed together. Mark L. Walberg put a positive spin on it and told Casey he can grow into the man that Ashley didn’t know she needed. Too little, too late!
