The Bachelor Recap: Fear Is Not A Factor For Sarah

The Bachelor folk are not about to let us forget that Sean Lowe's riveting personality half-naked body looks ah-mazing. While working out and taking a shower, Sean talks about his second chance at love… on this amazing journey… to meet his future wife. The Bachelor needs a new script. 

Sean and his bachelorettes go on dates this week! Chris Harrison explains the dating process to the 19 remaining ladies – First Rose Tierra, Wishing Well Desiree, OCD AshLee, Sexy Selma, Back Flips Robyn, Tries Too Hard Brooke, Lipstick Jackie, Kurly Katie, Sweet Sarah, Single Mom Diana, Mean Mugging Catherine, Poker Dealer Leslie, Awkward Pause Amanda, Desperate in D.C. Lesley, Ben Reject Kacie, Model Kristy, Handshake Daniella, Tears Taryn, and Drunk Bride Lindsay – and adds that Sean is the most sincere Bachelor ever.  

Chris places the first date card on the coffee table, raises his hands in the air, and slowly backs out of the room… BRING ON THE CRAZY! 

Kristy grabs the card, hoping to see her name on it, but it goes to Sarah. The date card reads, "Are you ready to fall in love today?" Everyone goes awwww and then wishes they, too, had only one arm. Oh, come on… you know the thought seeped into their catty heads. In all seriousness, I loved Sarah last week, so I'm excited about Sean's choice.

The Bachelor Recap: 50 Shades Of Crazy For Sean Lowe

Bachelor fans, are you ready for the most amazing journey featuring one (hopefully shirtless) Sean Lowe and 26 (hopefully tipsy) Bachelorettes? As always, each lady is desperate to find love and most definitely there for the right reasons.

Chris Harrison is on hand, as well, to keep every single most dramatic rose ceremony running smoothly. Not on hand? Emily Maynard. She broke Sean's heart on the Bachelorette and, for the sake of my sanity, needs to stay far away from this season.

Sean has fully recovered from his heartbreak and is ready to try again on the Bachelor. Clearly, he's a fool. He says the idea of possibly meeting his future wife during this journey (drink up, my friends) is kind of exciting and kind of intimidating.

Sean adds, "I want the end result. I want to protect my woman. I want to love my woman. I want to honor her. I want to love her with everything I have, and I want to be the best possible man I can be for her. I want to be rich in love." 

Because ABC doesn't completely hate me, Arie Luyendyk, Jr. stops by Sean's pad to help him prepare for what is to come. Mr. Holy Hotness schools Sean on how to properly kiss a woman: Eye contact. Use your hands. Touch her hair. Touch her face. Tease her with your tongue. No lizard tongue. Use your  whole body. #coldshower

Curse you, Arie, for not signing up for this train wreck of a show solely for my entertainment.

PHOTOS: Meet The 26 Bachelorettes Of Sean Lowe’s The Bachelor Season 17!

Aww, there he is.. our new Bachelor holding a rose. ABC officially announced Sean Lowe as the star of The Bachelor Season 17 earlier this week! You know, right after Chris Harrison spilled the beans at the Emmy Awards. We met Sean on the Bachelorette, of course, but that season was all about Emily Maynard. 

Now, Sean is the star and in charge of the roses. Sean, 28, is an entrepreneur from Dallas, Texas. Southern values, family, and faith are very important to Sean. In his free time, Sean enjoys camping, wakeboarding, dancing, outdoor activities, and attending concerts.

The ABC press release tells us what Sean is looking for as the Bachelor: "He wants to be the patriarch of a family that is centered on faith, love and, laughter. He is eager to be a supportive husband that will encourage his wife to chase her dreams, as well as someone who she can rely on to help her through good and bad times. Quite simply, he is looking for his best friend. Sean also wants a big family and would love to adopt a child along with having his own – just so long as he can pass along the values he was taught to his kids."

Taping is already underway for Sean's season, which will begin airing in January 2013. And, ABC must be eager to get this party started, because they have already released the pictures and first names of the 24 "new to us" women that will be competing for Sean's final rose (and that sweet Neil Lane rock). Undoubtedly, Sean's final rose will bring us the most romantic rose ceremony ever. Like, ever.. ever. I digress.. anyway, this information has been released at least three months earlier than normal. Their ages, hometowns, and occupations were not listed, however. In addition to the new faces, there are two familiar faces! Enjoy!

PHOTOS – Meet The 30 Bachelorettes of Brad Womack’s Bachelor Season 15!

Following the very dramatic and scandalous last season of the Bachelor, the ABC hit show returns this year in what is being called a scandal free season.

The 15th season of the Bachelor brings us back Brad Womack, a 38-year-old Texas bar owner. ABC’s decision to choose Brad as the new bachelor was met with some criticism as some felt he already had his chance and blew it. This is in reference to Brad’s now infamous decision to not pick either of this two finalists, DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft, back in 2007.

In a new interview with PEOPLE magazine, Brad reveals he has turned a new leaf and even declares he is “very much in love” with his final pick. “I did find love, and I’m very happy to say that,” Brad said. “I’m very much in love. I’m a happy guy.”

Brad adds, “A true love story happened.” The new season of the Bachelor premieres Jan. 3 (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.

In related Bachelor news, Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy blogged recently that he is now filming the Ukrainian version of the Bachelor. Even more interesting, Maksim revealed ABC had asked him to be the Bachelor on the US version but he declined.

Meet The 25 Bachelorettes of ‘The Bachelor 14: On the Wings of Love’ – Photos

The 14th season of The Bachelor premieres on January 4 at 8 PM on ABC, and ABC has now released the photos of the 25 bachelorettes vying for the love of Jake Pavelka.

The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love will begin with the 31-year-old commercial pilot from Dallas, TX arriving at the same Malibu mansion where he first met Jillian Harris, who rejected him during The Bachelorette’s fifth season earlier this year. As we reported earlier, Jillian and fiance, Ed Swiderski, will be on hand to assist Jake in picking the right women on the premier episode.

In a new interview with USA Today, Jake promises a very dramatic and rocky season. “I can tell you from the get-go, it is a very rocky and dramatic season,” said Jake. “Some of the things that happened on the show, drama-wise, floored me.”

The question on everyone’s mind is did he find love? But did he find love? “I don’t want to ruin the ending,” he says. But adds, “I stayed true to myself from the very beginning. I went in and said very honestly, if I find love I’ll come out engaged. I didn’t promise a ring at the end of this and stayed true to myself. I didn’t necessarily do what everybody wanted me to.”

Jake, 31, reveals that picking the right woman was a bit tougher than he anticipated, “Half way through the entire journey, I still had no idea whatsoever. It was cast so well for my temperament. I had a lot of romance. My heart went out to multiple women.”

Interestingly, missing from the cast is Brittney Gammel. Brittney is the 25-year-old Learjet pilot from Franklin, TN, who had been cast to be on the show. That is until she prematurely revealed back in October that Jake had been chosen to be the new Bachelor. The problem was ABC had yet to formally make the announcement and was planning to do so 2 weeks later during a DWTS episode.
