Tiger King

Tiger King Episode 5 Recap: Make America Exotic Again

The fifth episode of Tiger King serves as a lesson that nothing good comes from too much crazy in one place. Not only did some of this behavior seem normalized, but it was also was encouraged. Joe Exotic dives into politics, while suffering personal tragedy. The dynamics of the park also begin to change.

Jeff Lowe has managed to bamboozle Joe into giving him ownership of his zoo. With new management, major changes begin to take place. Jeff immediately fires half of the staff and insults them on their way out of the door. One of the most significant changes is the entrance of his associate, Allen Gloverwho was hired as a handy man for the zoo. This won’t seem significant this episode, but just keep Allen’s name in the back of your mind.

Joe Exotic Tiger King

Hey there cool cats and kittens, Mary here to describe to you in great furry detail how totally fucked up and deranged Tiger King is.

First things first, we can all agree that Carole Baskin made minced tiger food, all organic (unless Don Lewis smoked) out of hubby no 2. Howard Baskin, who is hubby no 3, better stay tightly tethered to her pussy patrol — or else. Accidents around big cats are a regular thing. Just ask Joe Exotic who was trying to film a very enlightening reality show about living on the edge of nature.

Before Joe decided to run for president, he was trying to become a reality star. Joe running for president is only marginally less bizarre than Donald Trump running for president. As far as exotic, one has tigers and gay/straight husbands who are only using him for his tigers money. The other has gold toilets and wives who are only using him for his money. Both have thrones. Although Joe’s is in the middle of an Oklahoma mud pit surrounded by chain link cages. Joe has Carole; Donald has Hillary. And Joe is ready to take on the world! The episode opens with his ‘hit’ country single “Bring It On” — one of his many odes to despising Carole. Fucking. Baskin.

Carole Baskin Tiger King

The first episode centered around The Tiger King Joe Exotic himself. The second took a deep dive into the cult-like ways of Doc Antle. This third episode though is the wildest ride of the season so far. It’s all about Carole Baskin and if she fed her poor husband, Don Lewis, to the tigers. SAY WHAT NOW? Her first husband went missing, and many people believe Carole had something to do with it.

Joe has made it has mission to tell us how much he hates this woman. However, it’s not just Joe that thinks Carole has blood on her hands. There’s a slew of people in Don‘s life that think his cat crazed wife Carole did him in. From businesses associates to Doc to Don’s family and friends. They all find the disappearance more than suspect. They are pointing the finger square at Carole. Did Don really become tiger food?

Carole Baskin Tiger King

We’re back with another developing story coming out of the Netflix documentary Tiger King. It’s like the crazy train has left the station and the next stop is Carole Baskin’s front porch. Since the docuseries came out, there has been so many theories and speculation about whether or not Carole killed her multi-millionaire husband, Don Lewis. Carole claims that he disappeared one day and probably just moseyed on down to Costa Rica to never return. Joe Exotic (and pretty much everyone else) alleges that she killed him and fed him to her big cats.

I don’t think I’m going out on a limb when I say Carole probably isn’t telling the whole truth. For starters, she has crazy eyes. Anyone can see that. But seriously, she talked about how to get a tiger to eat a human. She remarked, “Just cover them in sardine oil or something they want to eat, should do the trick.” Ermmm, ok then!

Let’s face it, we aren’t the only ones thinking Carole might have offed Don when the relationship went sour. She  just so happened to cut everyone out of his will right before he disappeared. It’s definitely worth looking into for that sardine comment alone.

Tiger King Episode 2 : Meow Mix

Hey all you cool cats and kittens! From now on, That is the only appropriate greeting when we are talking about Tiger King. Welcome to the episode two recap. I’m sure you already know from watching episode one, you’re in for a wild ride. We start to hit the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how all of these strange relationships are mixed together. Big cat people are clearly stranger than a bunch of tigers in the middle of Oklahoma. Or a monkey in baby clothes. Or eating expired Walmart meat off the back of a truck. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Read on, curious kittens.

In this episode, Carole Baskin is going to give us some aggressive flower crown work. I’m not really sure if she did that on purpose to soften her image. Or maybe she just really missed a turn and didn’t realize she’s not at Coachella. Over in Joe Exotic’s red neck of the woods, one of his employees got their arm chewed off by a tiger and one is left to wonder how something like this didn’t happen sooner. All Joe worried about how it will impact him financially.

On the East Coast, we get a deep dive into the life and times of Bhagavan “Doc” Antle, who shall be called “Doc” for the purpose of me not having to type out “Bhagavan” every time I bring him up. Also, because they say is a doctor of mystical science and I think it’s important to give respect where respect is due. We also get to meet the self-proclaimed Scarface of the business, Mr. Mario Tabraue. He’s an ex-drug lord who may or may not have cut up an ATF agent that was investigating him and when asked about it, simply shrugs and wonders what it matters. Ummm….a lot? It matters a lot.

There Is A Scripted Version Of Tiger King In The Works; Find Out Which Actors Might Join The Cast

The Netflix series Tiger King is wildly popular. Of course, people are going to capitalize on that as much as they can. And, now, there’s a scripted series in the works.

That’s right, actors will portray Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin, and the other key players in this complicated story.

At first glance, the concept for Tiger King just seemed so out of left field. However, it’s really resonated with viewers and there are plenty of pop culture ties to this cast. Those alligators that died in the fire used to belong to Michael Jackson. Doc Antle was a part of Britney Spears’ performance during the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. And there are probably some more links between these big cat enthusiasts and pop culture that we haven’t even realized yet.

In the Netflix series itself, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal appeared with Joe Exotic at the GW Zoo. He publicly supported the zoo and he even donated money. However, he’s changed his stance after watching Tiger King.
