VH1 Summer Lineup: Love & Hip Hop The Wedding, T.I. & Tiny, Basketball Wives LA, Dating Naked, She’s Got Game, And More

VH1 has unveiled its summer lineup, which includes a live wedding special, two new shows, and five returning shows. The summer shows kick off Monday, May 25 with Love & Hip Hop: New York‘s Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris on Love & Hip Hop: The Wedding.

“Viewers have been privy to every part of the couple’s relationship over the years as they became parents, dealt with Mendeecees‘s incarceration, the challenges of their subsequent separation, and eventually, his conditional release,” shared VH1. “Now, VH1 invites fans to be present for the happiest day of Mendeecees and Yandy‘s lives as they join together in holy matrimony.“

VH1‘s new summer shows bring us a competition show that puts “twin-tuition” to the test and a familiar face looking for love while on tour. The returning shows include T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, Basketball Wives LA, Dating Naked, Candidly Nicole, and Black Ink Crew.

VH1’s Hot New Summer Lineup: Dating Naked, #CandidlyNicole, LeAnn & Eddie, Atlanta Exes, And More!

Apparently VH1 wants to revitalize NBC’s “Must See TV” Thursday. They are really pushing their “hot new summer line-up” for Thursdays, which includes Dating Naked, #CandidlyNicole, and LeAnn & Eddie and kicks off July 17. 

Dating Naked? Awesome. Nicole Richie? No complaints here. LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian? Um, err, at least it’s not Brandi! Obviously this line-up will go down in history books as the new The Cosby Show, Cheers, and L.A. Law or Friends, Will & Grace, and ER can’t miss Thursday night!  

Mark your calendars, my friends, because VH1 is where it’s at this summer. To be clear:  No – I did not type any of that with a straight face.  But I am looking forward to #CandidlyNicole despite the hashtag. Also, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle returns and Atlanta Exes premieres later this summer.

Basketball Wives, Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business Premiering Tonight On VH1!

Tonight is the big premiere night on VH1 as they will be debuting three new reality shows.

The first is Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business.  The show follows celebrity siblings Brandy and For The Love of Ray J star, Ray J Norwood, as they try to take their careers to the next level.  The duo will be getting the support and guidance of their parents – entertainment manager and mom, Sonja Norwood and talented musical father, Willie Norwood. This premieres at at 9/8c tonight.

Then next up is the premiere of the highly anticipated Basketball Wives, a show similar to the Bravo Housewives series.  The show follows the extraordinary lives of seven women who are best friends and either the wife, ex-wife or girlfriend of an NBA superstar.  And based on the supertrailer, it is bound to be a drama filled season, which we all love ofcourse.  Basketball Wives premieres at 10/9c.

The last show premiering tonight is What Chilli Wants.  The show documents Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of music group TLC’s search for love .  This premieres tonight at 10:30/9:30c.
