Other than the announcement of her pregnancy, Lala Kent has been largely out of the mix lately. Not something we’re used to seeing in the off season (or permanent cancellation?) of Vanderpump Rules. I miss the 50cent drama of yester-year. But alas. So far the only other thing she’s got cooking is a Cameo on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Side note: watching Lala and Katie Maloney-Schwartz try to hop from their Sur-ver show to a Housewives event was…sad. And a clear reminder of their station in life and Bravo.
Meanwhile, despite trying to pawn off her family moments for cash, turns out our Laler has been keeping herself busy in some unexpected ways.
One thing we can look forward to if and when Vanderpump Rules comes back is Scheana Shay being pregnant and in a seemingly healthy relationship. Never forget, Scheana gave Lisa Vanderpump a reason to pitch the spinoff to Bravo by having an affair with Eddie Cibrian, Brandi Glanville’s ex-husband. Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney tried to make Scheana the villain on the show. However, that ultimately failed when it couldn’t be denied that they were actually awful people.
Throughout Scheana’s tenure on Pump Rules she has been trolled pretty hard. By fellow cast members, fans, and even shady former producers. Bottom line, if crappy people like Jax Taylor can get their happy ending on the show, I think Scheana, deserves the same. I know I’m not the only Scheana fan in the room either.
Remember Vanderpump Rules? If this were an ordinary year (where did those go?) we would be watching our once favorite SURvers right now as they made fun of Scheana Marie, fought over petty BS, and got sloppy drunk. Alas, the reckoning of 2020 put a stop to all that. Production for Season 9 is still halted due to COVID and Bravo fired OGs Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute for racist actions against Faith Stowers. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright also got the ax “parted” with Pump Rules in 2020.
So, who’s left? Lala Kent, Scheana, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy and newbie Charli Burnett. That sounds like enough for a show to me. But it seems like Bravo is slowly backtracking on last year’s exodus. First, Andy Cohen publicly mourned the changes. Now, it’s Lisa Vanderpump’s turn to plant the seeds for redemption.
The baby updates keep on coming from former and current Vanderpump Rules stars alike. Stassi Schroeder was the first pregnancy pact member to have a baby. She recently welcomed daughter Hartford into the world. Lala Kent also has a daughter on the way, and is already planning on having her second child. Brittany Cartwright’s son, Jax Jr., will also arrive shortly. Scheana Marie isn’t a member of the pact, but she will be having her baby this year as well.
That leaves two OG stars left, Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute. Neither are pregnant yet, but Katie shared she and Tom Schwartz are on the baby bandwagon and trying to conceive. Katie pretty much already mothers Tom, so she’ll be able to handle a baby just fine. Kristen hasn’t been as vocal about motherhood, but she finally made an update on her plans and if a baby could be in her future.
Here’s a question, if you have a baby but no one is around to film it, did you really have a baby? Should we ask Stassi Schroeder? It’s no secret the majority of the Vanderpump Rules cast is with-child. It is also no secret that these pregnancies were not born of a desire to have a family, but a desire to stay relevant. The Pump Rules pregnancy pact was a real thing and it was real weird. It’s a shame they all got knocked up to save a show that is currently not in production. Good luck with the price of formula though!
Lala Kent is one of the card-carrying pregnancy pact members. Her fairy tale romance with Randall Emmett gave us a plethora of memories. We have the alleged affair. The morning-after Range Rover. And we can’t forget the BJs for PJs without an emotional tear coming to our eyes. Rand and Lala decided to go all the way and get engaged to seal their hashtag blessed romance. When some of the ladies started getting preggers, Lala wasn’t far behind. Now her collection of baby bottles will have an actual baby to go with them! Even though little Randie has yet to make an appearance, Lala already wants another one.
Without rehashing the same things that we’ve mentioned 679,345 times over in 2020, 2021 is off to a better start for
fired Vanderpump Rules OG Stassi Schroeder. She and her husband Beau Clark have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl.
While Faith Stowers was never a key cast member on Vanderpump Rules, she was certainly part of some defining moments both on and off the show. Remember that time in 2018 that Pump Rules stars Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder called the police and alleged that Faith had stolen clothing, credit cards, and (possibly) Jax Taylor’s car? Faith, of course, was innocent.
It took a while, but karma finally caught up with the Vanderpump Rules cast. In June of 2020, Stassi and Kristen were axed from the show for their racist behavior. Newbie VPR stars Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens also got the boot because of racially insensitive tweets.
Even though Vanderpump Rules (inexplicably) gave Stassi Schroeder’s book much more screen time than Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval’s book, theirs did get some shine on the series.
Originally, Ariana wanted to write a cocktail book on her own, which became a point of contention between her and Tom. Then, Tom got on board and they ended up doing the book together, along with co-writer Danny Pellegrino. However, he wasn’t the original co-writer involved. Now, Tom and Ariana are being sued.
