Tamar Braxton, for me at least, was the break-out star in her family's reality show…and not always for the best reasons.  Regardless, she's fun to watch, and she always brought the drama, which are the two most important aspects in reality television.

Now, the feisty Tamar seems to be calming down in light of her new pregnancy, and she's basking in motherhood…as she should be.  Perhaps it's brought about her softer side, although, where's the fun in that?  Now Tamar is dishing on her upcoming addition with husband Vince Herbert.  I'm excited about the couple's next project.   Without question, it's going to be one adorable child!

Speaking with People, Tamar shares the pair's initial secrecy, saying, “Vince and I [were] told we were going to have fertility problems — it was a lot of information — so we had to get comfortable with the fact that it happened on its own.  We decided [not to announce the pregnancy] until we were both really okay with it — that’s why we waited.”

Of learning the exciting news, Tamar reveals, “I just burst out laughing.  It’s like, ‘What you talkin’ about, boo?’”

The thirty-five-year-old reality star reveals that she's been craving potato chips and cheese (also known as "dinner" in my world) while trying to balance her family's need to dole out advice.  She tells the site, “My sisters are making me feel more maternal because they’re crazy. They’re giving me advice on how to be a mother and be pregnant.  They always have a comment about my shoes, what am I wearing, what am I eating, you need to put your feet up and I’m just like, ‘I’m fine!’ They’re too much.”

There is one secret that the couple hopes to keep under wraps, and that is the sex of their unborn child.  Admitting that she's told her mom, Tamar jokes, “I can’t tell my sisters because my sisters will tell everybody.  My mom knows because she won’t tell.”

Vince has been hands on since learning the news, and Tamar explains, "Right now we’re going through picking the nursery and he’s trying to decorate it, but he’s lost his mind because I’ll be decorating it."

Tamar also believes that this baby is helping her passion, adding, “I think I sing better right now. My vocal chords are really, really healthy maybe because I’m not having cocktails.  I’m singing all the time and not having anything spicy. No acid reflux! I’m in a good place.”

Congrats to the happy couple and their upcoming addition!  This should make some adorable fodder for next season!
