Kate Gosselin Dismisses Multi-Million Dollar Law Suit Against Ex-Husband Jon And Author Robert Hoffman

Is Kate Gosselin extending an olive branch? Perhaps she's sick of being on the fringe in the tabloids?  Nah, that can't be it. Could it be that all the money she spends on styling, manicures, and tanning don't allow for a big legal battle against her ex-husband Jon and author Robert Hoffman.

As you recall, Kate waged a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Robert who authored Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World as well as the father of her eight children after the self-published book painted the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 reality star in a not so pretty light. Yeah, it was just the book that did that…

According to Radar Online, Kate filed a motion on November 19 requesting the judge release Jon as a defendant in the suit. This is on the heels of the news that her legal team planned to subpoena his former girlfriend as a witness. Kate asserted that Robert received his information about her thanks to Jon hacking into personal files on her computer. 

While Jon was off the hook, it appeared that Kate still wanted to go forward with her claims against Robert. Now, as of the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, she's dropped those too, and the case has been dismissed at Kate's request. 

Why Kate's change of heart? Was she in the Thanksgiving spirit? We may never know.
