Kristen Taekman Blasts Ramona Singer’s Behavior

The Real Housewives of New York City - Season 6

I almost find it sad that Kristen Taekman has to tell the public that "It's Not OK to Throw a Glass at Anyone," as she does in the title of her new Bravo blog. Honestly — and she points this out as well — children know that you are not supposed to throw things at other people. Especially glass things! But apparently throwing a wine glass is OK, according to Ramona Singer.

A little backstory if you have not seen this week's episode of the Real Housewives of New York City. Heather Thomson takes all the girls to her gorgeous home in the Berkshires for a relaxing weekend. Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan are complaining from the very beginning. I was actually shocked at how these two were behaving. Did they miss that lesson on normal decency and proper behavior in someone else's home?

But things went from bad to worse when the ladies went out on the lake in a couple of canoes….

"Kristen's annoying me now," Ramona says while Sonja talks about the meeting she had with Kristen's husband Josh Taekman.

"She's like a friggin' bystander. You don't even know she's there except she's tall and pretty. Otherwise you wouldn't know she's there, she just disappears," Ramona says about Kristen and Sonja's meeting with Josh.

Kristen playfully gets revenge by splashing the twosome with water. "We had blow dries!" "That's just really not nice."

Getting a blow-dry for a trip out on a canoe makes about as much sense as getting a blow-dry before a trip to the spa. Regardless Ramona unloads the contents of her wine glass at Kristen and follows with throwing the actual glass AT HER FACE! The glass cuts Kristen's lip open while Ramona completely flees the scene. Anyone who thinks they can throw glass at another person's face is seriously the lowest form of human being.

And Kristen agrees. In her Bravo blog, she addresses the entire situation.

"BUT IT IS NOT OK TO THROW A GLASS AT ANYONE!!! SHE DREW BLOOD, MY BLOOD FOR GOD’S SAKE!!! I didn't even realize that I was bleeding until Carole said something and then I could taste it running into my mouth."

"In all honesty, it is just not OK and can't be tolerated. She needs some serious anger management. What happened to the days of having a conversation or some level of communication."

Apparently Ramona's excuse for her disgusting behavior is that the woods brought up painful memories of her childhood. Mmmmm, okay? I think Kristen says is best.

"Ramona accepted the invitation to join us all in the Berkshires. She needs to stop complaining and just embrace it and enjoy it. I don't really understand where she was going with her childhood issues and the woods — but that's something that she has had plenty of time to work out. . .PLENTY OF TIME. And if it triggers violence in her, then she certainly should not put anyone else in harm's way if her temper can be that explosive."

Seriously — are the housewives going to need bodyguards like on the Real World? Can the housewives vote another one off the show if they physically harm another one? Maybe the producers should implement that policy and we could be rid of Ramona's bad behavior for good!
