Selena Gomez was recently featured on “Hot Ones,” appearing on the talk show alongside her fiancé, Benny Blanco. The show is popular for its unique concept as Sean Evans interviews his celebrity guests over some spicy chicken wings. The Scoville level only goes higher as the interview progresses, which results in comical antics from even the most composed celebrities.
While Blanco handled the spice relatively well, his fiancée was struggling with the aftereffects of consuming the hot wings. Gomez tried everything, from drinking water to taking a lap around the room. However, she was still unable to handle the spice level of the last few chicken wings.
At one point, the singer noted that she was going to play it “cool” and “stop being this way.” Selena Gomez seemed to refer to her haters, stating that the comments were going to accuse her of being overdramatic. Gomez said that she could “already read the comments,” so she is going to compose herself. She also reminded her fiancé that “we live in a cruel world.” Blanco jokingly noted if the singer was just trying to say that she was cool as he too struggled to handle the spice.
