The 21-year-old followed in his dad’s footsteps, becoming a conservationist, zookeeper, wildlife photographer, and actor, and now, he is tapping into modeling with the Bonds campaign, leaving everyone swooning.

Robert Irwin’s underwear photos for the Bonds campaign have been on everyone’s agenda for the day, but it was his relationship that status stirred quite the buzz. “I’m just waiting for the stars to align,” he informed PEOPLE after revealing that he is single and “open” to dating. Irwin became the talk of the town after his NSFW photos went viral on Instagram. Looking quite ripped, the wildlife photographer ditched his khakis for something fully revealing.
After sharing the steamy snaps on social media, Irwin confirmed that he doesn’t have a girlfriend. “I’m single,” the 21-year-old reality TV star revealed, calling it “funny” and claiming that he is at that point in life where he is “so open to” finding someone special and is only “waiting for the stars to align.” Irwin, who currently works as a wildlife conservationist at Queensland’s Australia Zoo, believes he will meet his partner there.
“My parents [Steve and Teri Irwin], my sister Bindi met her husband [Chandler Powell] here — everyone met here at our wildlife sanctuary,” Robert Irwin revealed. He counts on “that American tourist” to visit so sparks could finally fly between them, noting that his mom visited all those years ago while his late dad worked at the zoo. As for Bindi and his bother-in-law, Irwin claimed he knew they were “meant to be.” Their relationships inspire him as she wishes for something similar to happen in his life.
While addressing the underwear photos, the wildlife photographer disclosed that he traded his khakis for the revealing look without hesitation. “It was a pretty immediate yes,” he told PEOPLE separately.
