While being one of the most profitable college sports athletes, she revealed that she is quite “frugal.” The LSU gymnast told the outlet, “I would definitely say I am frugal with my money.” She continued that although a penny-pincher, she does treat herself to experiences and likes splurging on her “loved ones.”
Dunne noted that her most expensive purchase to date was her car, with the influencer purchasing one for her sister as well. She said, “I got her a Jeep because she deserves anything just as much as I do. Because she helps me with everything I do.” Her sister, Julz, serves as her manager, so the gymnast has her sibling to thank for landing some of the biggest and most lucrative brand deals.
However, Livvy Dunne’s boyfriend, Paul Skenes, likes to spend money “a little bit more” than her. The influencer also likes to spend on their relationship, stating that she doesn’t mind splurging on experiences with him. Other than that, she prefers to live “like a normal college student.” The LSU gymnast is grateful for all the opportunities that have come her way and for being able to make so much money at such a young age.
Dunne also took a dig at other NIL athletes who tend to spend more freely. She told the outlet, “If you look around at some of these other NIL athletes, it’s like Lamborghinis and these huge purchases.” However, she clarified that she is more financially wise and likes to save whenever she can.
