For the first time in 11 years, the cast of Vanderpump Rules will be out of work, since the show has been totally recast for Season 12. In the meantime, several of the Pump Rules alums will be making cameo appearances on The Valley. Among those VPR alums are Scheana Shay and her husband Brock Davies.
In a sneak peek of The Valley After Show, several of the cast discuss babies: whether they are expecting, already have them, and/or want more of them. Meanwhile, Brock gives an update on his older kids in Australia and where his relationship with them stands now.
Brock Davies takes responsibility for his strained relationship with his two kids in Australia
As we know, Brock and Scheana have one child together, Summer Moon, who will be four on April 26. Even though Brock says he’d really like Summer to have a sibling, Scheana isn’t able to carry a baby. During Summer’s birth, she experienced medical issues that would make it unsafe for her to deliver another child.
Because of her health history, Scheana would need to go through IVF, and a surrogate would carry the baby. “For me, I have to go the surrogacy route,” she said on the After Show. “So I’m not there mentally, but we’ll make some embryos and then decide.”
“I think we do a great job with Summer,” the New Zealand native told cameras. “She’s an amazing kid, and I … will be more than happy to expand this family. Not just for my selfish reasons. I want Summer to have a sibling [to go] through life with.”
Jason Caperna added, “I know that you’ve been working really hard to get more of a relationship with the other kids. So, hopefully, they get in the fold more, and that grows the family as well, right?”
“As much as I would love that,” Brock responded, “it’s a consequence of my actions … The kids are in a great family environment … It’s up to them when they’re ready to do that.”
“It’s a work in progress,” the personal trainer added. “And I’m the progress. So I just gotta keep working at it.”
