Blue Origin’s recent space mission, featuring a star-studded all-female crew, didn’t sit well with netizens and celebrities. Following the trip, Emily Ratajkowski took to TikTok to notify fans that she doesn’t stand for the space trip. Addressing the mission, the model termed the incident “beyond parody.” Filming herself in what appeared to be a car while traveling, Ratajkowski gave her two cents about the issue.

Emily Ratajkowski seemingly addressed the hypocrisy of the all-female crew, which includes Katy Perry. The model hinted that everyone seemed to care about “Mother Earth,” but were heading to space on a spaceship “built and paid for by a company that’s singlehandedly destroying the planet?”

Emily Ratajkowsi further advised fans to look at the larger purpose of Blue Origin’s recent space mission. She urged netizens to think about the resources that went into undertaking the trip while wondering about its purpose, given the grim situation of the world. The star ended the video by exclaiming how “disgusted” she was by the whole extravaganza.

Emily Rajatkowsi isn’t the only one to criticize Blue Origin’s first-ever all-female crew’s space trip. Olivia Wilde also took to her Instagram stories to reshare a meme and said, “Billion dollars bought some good memes, I guess.” Well before the mission, Olivia Munn also criticized the project, slamming the company for spending money and resources on the mission when there were other important issues to tackle in the world.

The Blue Origin’s all-women crew featured Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn. The ladies blasted off to space in full glam and custom blue uniforms designed by Sanchez. The mission lasted about 11 minutes, with the team experiencing weightlessness.
