Walton Goggins Liked ‘White Lotus’ SNL Skit Amid Aimee Lou Wood Feud Rumors

Walton Goggins recently praised the “The White Lotus” Season 3 parody “SNL” skit amid rumors of an alleged feud between him and his co-star Aimee Lou Wood. The actor took to Instagram Stories to share the clip of the comedy spoof and called it “SMASHING,” reported Page Six. However, the reaction came right after Wood called the “White Potus” skit “unfunny.” Previously, speculations about Goggins having a dispute with the “Sex Education” star began to emerge on the internet, but none of the stars have addressed them as of yet.

Walton Goggins showed his liking for the “SNL” parody of “The White Lotus” Season 3 on Instagram. The appreciation comes amid rumors of a feud between him and Aimee Lou Wood. Sharing the comedy sketch in his Instagram Stories, the actor called it “SMASHING.” He further wrote, “Jon… I knew I was miscast,” referring to Jon Hamm’s portrayal of the political figure Robert F. Kennedy Jr. embodying Goggins’ character, Rick, from the HBO series.

Meanwhile, Wood had an opposite reaction to the comedy spoof. She found it “mean” and “unfunny.” On April 13, the actor posted a set of stories on Instagram to express her honest opinion on the skit. In one story, the actor wrote, “But whilst in honest mode – I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny xo.” She continued, “(Felt righteous, might delete later x), clapping back at the popular comedy show.

Comedian and actor Sarah Sherman portrayed a parodied version of Wood’s “The White Lotus” character, Chelsea. She wore enlarged false teeth and talked in an exaggerated accent, seemingly poking fun at Wood’s physical appearance. In another Instagram Story, the actor referred to “SNL” and wrote, “Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple of weeks ago.” She added, “Yes, take the piss for sure — that’s what the show is about. But there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?”
