Taylor Swift might get served a subpoena sometime this week concerning the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni case. In return, the latter used the same for his countersuit.
Taylor Swift may be served with a subpoena this week, claims ‘source’
An exclusive source has revealed to the Daily Mail that Taylor Swift will reportedly be served her subpoena sometime this week for the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni case. After her name cropped up, thanks to the actor’s text messages to the director, the pop star was dragged into the ongoing legal drama. In the messages, Lively mentioned that she has “a few dragons.” While her husband, Ryan Reynolds, is one of the “dragons,” her bestie is the other.
Baldoni made the content of the text messages public, using them for his countersuit. He claimed his co-star used the singer’s name to “pressure” him. Supposedly, Lively used this method to get him to allow her to make some tweaks to the script. Swift’s music was also dragged into the lawsuit. The actor allegedly threatened Baldoni that she would not reach out to her friend for the rights to use her song for the trailer.
The insider told the outlet that Swift could expect to be subpoenaed sometime soon. They said that Hugh Jackman will be served his subpoena as well. The source claimed that both of them will “definitely be served this week,” adding, “It could happen at any time.” The pop artist has reportedly been waiting for the subpoena, keeping her distance from her pal in the meantime.
While Swift and Lively’s friendship had been rocky after the singer’s name appeared in the lawsuit, NewsNation reported that it is on the mend. A source told the news outlet that the pair has supposedly “worked everything out.”
