In light of the promotional tour for his new song, “Old phone,” the singer took to social media to share several throwback photographs from several years ago. One of the pictures, which was captured on his old phone, showed him taking an adorable selfie with Swift, evoking nostalgia for fans of the duo.

Ed Sheeran recently posted decade-old photos of his friend Taylor Swift, which he discovered on his old phone. One of the pictures, which was captured in 2013, showed the “Fortnight” singer taking a walk on a sunny beach. Fans could only see the singer’s backside. She wore a cozy dark maroon sweater and a white top underneath. Swift paired the fit with black shorts. However, she was barefoot while taking a relaxing walk on the beach on that specific day.

Sheeran also uploaded a throwback selfie with Taylor Swift in a carousel of photos he recently posted on Instagram. The photograph saw the “Shape of You” singer wearing a simple black T-shirt. Meanwhile, Swift was seen sporting a chic denim blue shirt. A minimal glam and low ponytail wth breezy bangs finished off her look. Sheeran captioned the post, “Put the sound on and have a listen. I got rid of my phone 2015, and moved onto email full time.”
Notably, in 2013, Ed Sheeran toured with Taylor Swift in support of her fourth studio album “Red.” He even served as the opening act for the North American leg of The Red Tour. Later, the duo collaborated again for one of her tracks from the “Reputation” album. Besides their professional collabs, the musical besties even share a deep bond.
