Paige DeSorbo has been keeping herself busy in more ways than one. The Summer House star wrote a book, is launching a new series on YouTube, and hosts a podcast with former castmate and friend Hannah Berner. However, despite both ladies having been on Summer House, they don’t discuss the show on their Giggly Squad podcast.
Paige has been focusing on the podcast and book tour recently. She’s single now and can pursue her passions beyond being on Summer House. This is a good thing because while she loves being on the show, she knows she can’t stay forever. However, even if she were to leave, Paige likely won’t talk about the show on her podcast, and she’s revealed why.
Bravo wouldn’t let Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo discuss Summer House on their podcast
Paige and Hannah guested on A Good Hang with Amy Poehler. Amy asked them if they ever clarified things about Summer House on their podcast.
“Never!” Paige answered immediately with a meaningful raise of her eyebrow.
Hannah agreed with her and added, “I have never said what actually happened in my last season.” She was referring to being fired from the show on the heels of a rollercoaster feud with Kyle Cooke.
“We’ve never spoken about Summer House,” Paige explained. She paused and explained why that is and how it continued to the day.
“Honestly, when we started, we were one of the first podcasts to come out of Bravo. There was like one or two others,” Paige explained. “And they were really adamant about like ‘This is not a Bravo podcast, do not speak about Bravo.’”
“And we were like, ‘Totally fine with us,’” Paige said. “We weren’t going to anyway. We wanted it to be more pop culture. And so now people are kind of surprised if they find us from Bravo because they’re like, ‘They never talk about Bravo.’”
She finished with, “Well, we weren’t allowed to in the beginning, and now like, yeah, it doesn’t go with who we are and what we talk about.”
Looks like we won’t be getting Summer House tea from Paige and Hannah’s podcast anytime soon.
