Blake Lively made her first talk show appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” since the Justin Baldoni lawsuit. The actor has steadily returned to the spotlight amid her legal battle with her “It Ends With Us” co-star. In between the highly publicized case, Lively recently touched upon the “lowest lows” of her life while appearing on Seth Meyers’ talk show.
The controversy began in December when Lively filed a sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni, followed by a lawsuit. However, the actor-director hit back at the allegations with a countersuit and sued his co-star for defamation. Lively and Baldoni’s bitter feud has continued to intensify with a series of accusations they have made against each other. Meanwhile, the trial date is set for March 2026.

On May 1, Blake Lively stepped out in New York City to film her first talk show segment since the legal battle with her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni started. During the appearance, the 37-year-old actor reportedly got candid about the challenging period of her life. Page Six exclusively learned from an audience member who attended the taping that Lively looked back at her “pretty intense year.”
The “Gossip Girl” star seemingly alluded to the ongoing legal battle with Baldoni and said, “This year has been full of the highest highs and lowest lows of my life.” Lively continued, “I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially now, afraid to share their experience.” She stated, “Fear is by design, it’s what keeps us silent.” Lively also acknowledged that “many people don’t have the opportunity to speak,” adding, “So I do feel fortunate that I have been able to.”
Page Six also reported that during the interview, Lively noted that her four children — James, Inez, Betty, and Olin — have been her lifeline during the difficult time. Previously, the actor made a rare red carpet appearance with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, at the TIME 100 gala amid her attempts to regain footing in the spotlight since the lawsuit. Following that, the actor and film producer also joined his wife at a screening event for “Another Simple Favor.”
