The Daily Mail exclusively learned from an insider that Sweeney and Sklenar “were currently just having fun.” The source suggested nothing romantic was going on between the two. They explained that Sweeney and Sklenar were simply “letting off some steam and enjoying Stagecoach and hanging out as friends with others.” The insider stated that the viral video “doesn’t tell the whole story.” This is because Sklenar has reportedly been in a relationship since 2020.
Meanwhile, an eyewitness alleged to Us Weekly that Sweeney and Sklenar were giving off “flirtatious chemistry” while attending the festival. They even claimed, “It seemed like they were on a date together the whole night on Saturday.” Despite eyewitnesses’ remarks, a source shut down the speculations, telling the outlet that “they are just really good friends.” They stated that Sweeney is “living her best life right now.” Seemingly referring to the comments, the source added that “Anyone but You” has “a flirtatious personality.”
