Sarah Jessica Parker is notable for being a fashion legend on the “famous” Met steps. However, this year, the actor had to miss the event as she had scheduled work on the same day. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the interviewer asked the actor whether fans could expect to see the artist at the Met Gala 2025. In response to that question, Parker simply said, “I have to work.” The interviewer was quite disappointed, just like fans, to hear that the actor would not be able to attend the event.
Parker further said, “There’s gonna be so much to see. I look forward to seeing what everybody does and how they interpret the theme.” The actor jokingly added, “The sort of homework they did for the assignment.” Parker then went on to explain how she cares “a lot about it.” Moreover, she wants “to try to really honor the work of the curators and everybody who’s sort of inspired this moment for those who get to attend.”
Last year, Sarah Jessica Parker made an elegant appearance at the Met Gala. The star wore an ivory ensemble, celebrating the theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The dress was adorned with sparkly floral embellishments.
As for the 2025 edition of the Met Gala, the event saw the attendance of many global celebrities. The list included Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, and more.
