The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2: Biggest ‘Unholy’ Tea Spilled

Perhaps the greatest lesson I learned from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is that nobody, not even the hottest Mormon influencers, is without fault. Season 2 more than lived up to the hype as skeletons came out of almost everyone’s closet.

The truth is scarier than any Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Halloween party

A lot went down at Jessi Ngatikaura’s Halloween party. And more than one skeleton came out of the closet. Taylor Frankie Paul was stuck at the party with her baby daddy, former best friend, and Chase McWhorter. Now we’ve already figured out that Chase is a clout chaser, but he was also the man that Taylor went a bit too far with during the scandal. We know this because in September 2024, Taylor confirmed she, her husband, her best friend, and her best friend’s husband were all in an open relationship. But Chase has been lying since the scandal broke. At the party, Taylor caught him in multiple lies.

She admitted she, at one time, had a sex dream about him, to which Chase notes he had one about her. The conversation escalated as Chase denied he ever admitted to catching feelings. He then backtracks, saying he never had a dream about her at the gym. The entire conversation is confusing, but it left viewers feeling like Chase was trying to save face—a bit late for that, buddy.

Dakota Mortensen is put on blast by Taylor Frankie Paul

Taylor finally meets up with Dakota Mortensen’s mystery woman, who is actually named Jenna. She is also Mormon and clearly skittish, so how she got herself tangled up in this is nuts. Jenna opens up to Taylor, sharing multiple text messages proving that Dakota, in fact, lied about sleeping with a girl while with Taylor. She confirms that she and Dakota hung out at “the trampoline park, one time we went to the dinosaur museum, and then one time he came over and watched a movie.”

Jenna sadly reveals he “spent the night more than once.” She adds, “We never had sex for sure. I feel like we did a little bit more than just making out. Like we probably just did hand stuff. I don’t think I would have done it to him, though, because being raised Mormon, I was like “Oh, I’m sinning.” Taylor’s heart is left broken as she tries to comprehend all the information.

The truth about The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives swinging is revealed

Taylor finally spills tea on swinging. Miranda McWhorter has been trying to deny that anything happened for the first three episodes. She shared that at the time of the scandal, she was fighting for her marriage and didn’t want the extra attention. After a sit-down with Taylor, she finally admits that the swinging was more than just kissing. Taylor is obviously relieved that her name has been cleared. In her confessional, she sets herself free by holding Miranda accountable.

She reveals they “had sex in the shower with the husbands all together. We also had sex in the same bed at the same time. We’d blindfold each other, and you’d have to guess which husband you were kissing, and a couple of times we did that. We also had a night where it was four husbands and you and me, and they asked us to go get in short shorts, so we did. Then we came down, and we were so drunk we were making out and were on top of each other, and they filmed it on their phone.” Honestly, I need a cold shower after this revelation.

Jennifer Affleck is pregnant

My heart broke at this moment. In episode 3, Jen Affleck had a feeling she might be pregnant after telling her husband she was ten days late. She and Zac Affleck are not in a good spot. They’ve spent months trying to work on their marriage, but The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star hasn’t exactly forgiven him for his sucky treatment. As she reveals that she is pregnant after taking a test, Jen breaks down in her confessional.

She cried, “I’m not the person I want to be before bringing in another child. I’m sad for this child because I don’t even know where my marriage is at. And so I think in this moment I kind of come to my breaking point.” I couldn’t help but feel Jen had no other choice but to commit to her pregnancy and Zac. And that made me feel so sorry for her.

Demi Engemann’s character is under fire

While in Scottsdale, Demi Engemann and her issues with Bret Engemann are called into question. Taylor is the culprit who causes a massive fallout between the two women.
