Even though David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham are sometimes called “toxic,” Lexi Wood thinks they’re just the “nicest.” The Summer House newbie dated their son, Brooklyn Beckham, back in 2018, when she was barely out of her teens.
Because they were both so young, she and Brooklyn didn’t spend a whole lot of time with the ‘rents. But she must have met them at least once, since she told Nick Viall that they’re just the “nicest.”

On May 7, Lexi visited with Nick on his Viall Files podcast. She gushed over David and Victoria, saying they’re the “coolest.” As a fashion model, Lexi admires the former Spice Girl as a fashion icon.
But while she admires the family, Lexi isn’t taking sides in the family feud between Brooklyn and his brother Romeo Beckham. The boys aren’t speaking to each other due to Romeo’s dating one of Brooklyn’s past girlfriend, DJ Kim Turnbull. She did, however, compliment Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, praising their “wonderful relationship.”
Though Lexi admires the elder Beckhams, insiders say that Brooklyn and Nicola are weary of his parents’ attempt to mend the feud. In addition, Nicola doesn’t like the way they treat her husband. Reportedly, David will berate his son for hours, followed by Victoria texting a loving message to cover for him. Of course, we’ve got to take all of that with a pinch of salt. It could just be tabloid fodder.
Sources say that Brooklyn and Nicola no longer attend family functions due to the familial tensions. Apparently, they were not invited to David’s 50th birthday celebratioin last month.
While there may be issues within the Beckham clan, Lexi still believes that Brooklyn’s parents are simply the best.
