Following your parents’ footsteps is no easy feat, especially if your mom is Beyonce. Nevertheless, Blue Ivy‘s recent run proved she might be up for a music career of her own. The 13-year-old has delivered explosive performances, leading her mom’s dance crew for the Cowboy Carter Tour. She has been every show’s star and upstaged the professional dancers with her moves and on-theme fits as a seasoned performer since her debut at the Renaissance World Tour in 2023.
Now, an insider revealed that Beyonce’s daughter is “considering a career in music,” but that did not come as a shock. Blue Ivy started young, making shockwaves in the industry, and her parents can’t wait for her to “have a Whip My Hair moment.”
Beyonce’s writers are ‘quietly penning demos’ for Blue Ivy, ‘source’ reveals
Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy, the eldest of her and Jay-Z’s three kids, is reportedly gearing up for her own music career, thus proving that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. The Daily Mail exclusively learned from a “source” that there’s a careful plan in place to launch the teenager’s career in the industry with her parents’ full support.
“Blue is considering starting her own career in music,” the publication’s insider claimed. They added that some of her mom’s “favorite writers are quietly penning demos for her” as they anticipate a solo album.
The report further mentioned that Blue Ivy has sought help from her aunt and renowned singer-songwriter, Solange Knowles. Despite the presence of a bevy of big names who would be more than willing to work with the teen, her decision to rely on Beyonce’s trusted associate seemed natural.
In addition, the source confirmed that the up-and-coming artist has been “writing material with help from Solange” with The-Dream “spearheading it.” The latter also has “two or three records for her,” considering that fans want a “Blue record.”
Besides, Beyonce and Jay-Z have set strict rules about what their daughter, Blue Ivy, can or cannot listen to. “She is only allowed to listen to age-appropriate songs from artists,” apprised the insider. Her mom even took an extremely cautious approach and was initially against then-11-year-old Blue Ivy performing at the 2023 tour.
However, the girl proved how much she wanted it. She underwent strenuous training while juggling schoolwork, proving her talent and effort. The teen’s parents are finally “ready for her to have a Whip My Hair moment.”
Previously, Blue Ivy featured in Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl,” winning a Grammy and a Guinness World Record. She also became the youngest female artist to chart on the Hot 100.
