David Beckham doesn’t forget about Brooklyn in Mother’s Day post for wife Victoria
On May 11, David Beckham took to his Instagram stories to celebrate Mother’s Day with a post for his wife, Victoria. The throwback black and white picture showcased Victoria embracing her four kids, Brookyln, Romeo, Cruz, and baby Harper Beckham. The former English footballer wrote on the picture, “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mommy,” tagging his wife. Additionally, he wished everyone writing, “to all our friends in the US, Happy Mother’s Day.”
Beckham made sure to tag all of his kids in the beautiful picture. David Beckham mentioning his son, Brooklyn, can be perceived as a way to silence the family feud rumors. For the unaware, the Beckham family feud rumors sparked when Brooklyn failed to attend his father’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Further, a source told PEOPLE that there have been “tensions between Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, and the family.” However, the insider confirmed that their “relationship is definitely not beyond repair.” While the rumors went viral all over social media, Brooklyn seemingly cleared the air with his interview with the Sunday Times. The one-time footballer recalled a fond memory with his father as he recently participated in the Formula E Evo Sessions in Miami.
The 26-year-old revealed how his motorsports journey started at a young age due to “his love for racing.” Brooklyn also suggested that his father inspired his love for racing due to his childhood activities with the latter. He revealed how he and his dad “bonded over” their love for racing. “My dad’s had some pretty cool cars,” Brooklyn continued.
Brooklyn’s latest interview and his father’s social media reflect that all is well in the family. However, the family has yet to properly address the feud rumors.
