Without a doubt, Imrul Hassan has been quite the addition to the Summer House cast. Dare I say he is almost giving Kyle Cooke a run for his money? Imrul came in hot with his big d*ck energy and inevitably started rubbing a few of his roommates the wrong way. But the guy seemed nice enough and even opened up about living as an undocumented citizen. However, fans have noticed that over the last few weeks, Imrul has been hiding in plain sight and has been edited out of dinner. So, where has the newbie disappeared to?
Imrul Hassan has been edited out of Summer House Season 9
Personally, I can take him or leave him. Imrul has yet to really integrate into the cast and friend group. But after seeing that he has been attending events, just edited out, fans are starting to question what is going on. One super fan posted a behind-the-scenes video they caught while eating at Oakland’s. The scene being filmed was that of West Wilson opening up about his intimacy issues. He shared that he had lost his college friend a year before, and Ciara Miller had been the one to help him navigate those feelings. The entire table seemed to consist of Amanda Batula, Carl Radke, Ciara, and Lexi Wood.
However, Summer House fans were stunned to learn that Imrul, who sat right next to Carl, was also there. Yet when looking back on the episode, he was nowhere to be found. To be honest, viewers haven’t seen him for some time. Last we heard from Imrul, he had a nice week hanging out with his cousin’s kids. But he has not been shown at any recent party or event. I can’t help but feel that Imrul is being given the Alex Wach treatment from Season 6. Both men just vanished into thin air after Bravo decided they weren’t entertaining enough.
Is Imrul Hassan too much for the Summer House cast?
There are many reasons why Bravo might have decided that Imrul wasn’t worthy of screen time. Firstly, he has brought back numerous women who have refused to be filmed for the show. One of the major storylines had to do with Imrul’s threesome and Jesse Solomon getting his toe sucked, yet cameras weren’t allowed in the room. Other than his multiple hookups, Imrul hasn’t really added to the show. He has posted his own photos of several parties that he has attended, including the shipwrecked party.
His reputation as a womanizer might not be what Bravo wants to align itself with. But I assume he was open with production from the very beginning. All fans have been able to learn about the newbie was that he grew up having to stay under the radar. But once he got citizenship, he felt free to live his life. The story itself is interesting, but perhaps viewers were not ready to watch a man bring back two girls in one night and brag about it.
Imrul Hassan wasn’t at a guys’ dinner with the Summer House cast
The Summer House reunion was filmed on April 24. It is assumed that Imrul was in attendance, but nothing has been confirmed. However, the boys of summer all went out to dinner after with Andy Cohen. During the group photos, fans once again noticed that Imrul was not there. Naturally, viewers are questioning if something went down during the Season 9 reunion. One fan account did some digging and came up with a few receipts. The fan reached out to Imrul directly and got some interesting answers.
As to why he wasn’t at dinner, he said, “I left early, a few hours before they wrapped, so that’s part of it. I mean, I dunno. I’m gonna chalk it up to that and move on. It’s all good.” According to the messages, Imrul’s goal was to bring awareness to a school he was building. He added, “I’m so glad I did it and got some publicity and a platform for my English school, that was always my big goal in all of this.” According to the fan account, Summer House only focused on one aspect of Imrul’s life. The icing out would make sense since, sadly, I don’t think viewers tune in to hear about a school being built. We always and will always want the drama.
