The pop icon, who is now a returning judge on America’s Got Talent, buzzed the audience as she hilariously practiced her wedding walk. Though her fiance was not present, an unsuspecting audience member drafted in as the fiance’s substitute.

Melani Brown, aka Spice Girl’s Mel B, will soon tie the knot with her fiance. Ahead of her wedding, she practiced walking down the aisle with a lucky audience member. The pop legend described her fiance, Rory McPhee, as a “beautiful soul” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. But on stage at 30 Rock, McPhee was not present. Hence, Mel B asked an audience member, Max, to help her rehearse a walk down the aisle with her classic humor.
With a bouquet in hand and Fallon providing commentary and comic encouragement, the Scary Spice proved her swagger. “Can I get somebody from the audience?” she asked, greeting her unprepared stand-in with jokes. With laughter and her sassy attitude, the two walked, creating a perfect late-night show moment. Mel B quipped while flexing on her eligibility to host the wedding at London’s St. Paul Cathedral, “You have to be kind of special.”
Notably, Princess Diana and Prince Charles’s wedding took place at the same venue. Hence the pop singer emphasized the occasion to be a once-in-lifetime opportunity. She told Fallon, “Not many people are allowed to get married there.” She explained her eligibility came courtesy of her being a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE). According to NBC, Mel was awarded the honor for raising awareness of domestic violence.
Per NBC’s TODAY, McPhee proposed to the artist at her favorite hotel, involving her dogs at the moment. Additionally, he sought Mel’s late father’s blessing at his grave, which she describes as “so lovely.” Victoria Beckham is designing the singer’s wedding dress along with her mother’s. Mel B shared her excitement for the wedding while she talked about it with Jimmy Fallon. She also practiced walking down the aisle, proving her relationship with her fiance to be deeply meaningful.
