The 31-year-old singer shared a congratulatory post for his wife following her solo cover in the fashion magazine’s latest issue. Pop Base shared the unedited caption on X (formerly Twitter). “Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” he wrote in the caption, recalling their disagreement and telling the model “she would never be on the cover of Vogue.”
Additionally, Justin acknowledged that it was “so mean” and explained feeling “disrespected” and wanting to “get even” at the time. “I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even,” he wrote about his thoughts, adding that it’s “prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.” The Grammy winner then apologized to Hailey, asking her for forgiveness “for saying u wouldn’t get a vogue cover” and accepting how “sadly mistaken” he was back then.
