Elizabeth Hurley Will Be ‘Deceased’ on New Reality Show The Inheritance

Elizabeth Hurley is soon returning to our screens via a new reality television show, The Inheritance. However, in this new gig, her character is dead. Joined by another British TV icon, Robert Rinder, Elizabeth will soon be a hostess portraying a ghostess. And, of course, we have all the tea on this new series.

The Inheritance will see Elizabeth Hurley play “The Deceased” in an all-new reality show

The Inheritance airs sometime in the fall on Channel 4, the British national television network. As for the concept of this new reality television series, 13 strangers will arrive at a fabulous stately home in the British countryside. Here, they will compete to win a part of the fortune left behind in the will of The Deceased, a glamorous benefactor played by Elizabeth. Overseeing her will is her Executor and trusted legal counsel, Robert.

In a Channel 4 promotional ad, Elizabeth notes that The Inheritance is “a brilliant new reality series in which I play a glamorous and mysterious benefactor known only as The Deceased. The Deceased lived here in this beautiful house on a vast country estate. And following her untimely death has left behind a fortune to be claimed.”

Elizabeth states that if these strangers want her money, they must compete in “a series of final requests stipulated in The Deceased’s highly unusual will.” Thankfully, they will have Robert leading the way, “keeping a watchful eye on the would-be heirs and heiresses.”

According to Channel 4, this game is collaborative. However, only one player can claim the money gained in each request. Therefore, these players must persuade their team that they deserve the cash they earned together after each challenge. AKA, The Inheritance is likely to get messy, complete with sob stories and cunning self-absorbed strategies following each request completed.

The Inheritance airs in the fall via the British national television network Channel 4.
