Selena Gomez reportedly DMed Hailey Bieber on Instagram amid the debacle involving Justin Bieber’s controversial post on his wife’s Summer cover for Vogue. Although the Canadian singer later edited the post’s questionable caption, trying to fix the controversy, it didn’t help anything, as the previous caption had spread all over the internet.
As reported by Deuxmoi, a “source” told them that the “Baby” singer’s ex, Selena Gomez, personally contacted his wife, Hailey Bieber, regarding the Vogue fiasco via Instagram DMs.
Hailey Bieber ‘accidentally’ opened Selena Gomez’s DM amid Vogue drama, ‘source’ claims
Hailey Bieber allegedly opened Selena Gomez’s message “accidentally” amid the drama surrounding Justin Bieber’s controversial post on his wife’s Vogue Summer cover. Per Deuxmoi, a “source” claimed that the Rhode Skin founder “accidentally opened it (Gomez’s DM) and didn’t know whether or not to respond.” The person further said that the media personality was reportedly “fielding calls about what to do the whole day and Kylie Jenner came over to councel her.”
The entire debacle in question occurred when Justin Bieber recalled a past argument with his wife in the now-edited caption of an Instagram post on Hailey Bieber’s Vogue cover. The singer explained that during a past squabble, he told the beauty mogul that “She would never be on the cover of Vogue.”
He further expressed that he said those words “because he felt so disrespected and wanted to “get even” with Hailey Bieber. Towards the end of the caption, the “Yummy” singer ended up apologizing to his wife. Since the release of the Instagram post, Justin changed the long caption into several emojis.
After the controversy, Selena Gomez also shared a Story featuring an inspirational quote on Instagram that might be dedicated to Hailey Bieber. The quote read, “You matter. Your voice matters. Your heart matters. You are worth so much more than you know.” Gomez also added a cryptic caption to the Story. “You know who you are and I’m cheering you on,” wrote the “Only Murders in the Building” actor.
