Over the weekend, Sophie Turner sweetly showed her support for Joe Jonas’ new album, “Music for People Who Believe in Love.” The shoutout came shortly after the new record was released on May 23. The 29-year-old took to her Instagram Story and shared the link to the record on Spotify. Turner cheered for her ex-husband’s new music project, writing, “Go go,” and tagged Jonas. Later, the 35-year-old singer also subtly expressed his gratitude.
Jonas reposted Turner’s Instagram Story to his and added a heart hands emoji. The “Game of Thrones” actor’s shoutout to her ex-husband’s new solo album came nearly two years after announcing their split. In September 2023, Turner and Jonas shared a joint statement to confirm their split. The former couple announced they “decided to amicably end” their marriage after “four wonderful years.” Jonas and Turner also clarified that it was an “united decision” amid “many speculative narratives.”
Further in the statement, Turner and Jonas added, “We sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.” The former couple, who tied the knot in 2019 before ultimately splitting, share two daughters, Willa and Delphine. Turner and Jonas’ divorce was finalized in September 2024. As part of the settlement, the parents of the two agreed to joint custody of their children, reported PEOPLE.
