Taylor Swift AMAs 2025 Nominee Reel Was Muted, Claims Fans

Fans have claimed that the American Music Awards muted Taylor Swift‘s nominee reel for the event amid the singer’s snub at the award show. Swift garnered a total of six nods in major categories this year, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Favorite Pop Album, and Collaboration of the Year. However, she lost in every category, making fans quite furious as they believe they let the singer down. Now, some Swifties have come forward on X (formerly Twitter) to point out how the award show allegedly muted the nomination reel for the musician.

Taylor Swift‘s fans could not hide their frustration at the AMAs 2025 after some of them claimed that the award show muted the singer’s Swifties’ reactions during category announcements. They further pointed out that the nominee reel had no cheer sound from the audience. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) to share how they feel about the “weird” situation, some Swifties expressed their frustration, alleging the wins were “rigged” or “heavily manipulated.”

In the meantime, Billie Eilish bagged some of the big honors at the American Music Awards 2025. The list included Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Favorite Pop Album for “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” among other awards.
