Finding love is hard enough but finding it amidst fighting and drama is even harder. That’s what Cortney Reardanz was worried about when she joined 90 Day: Hunt for Love. She was exceptionally nervous not about who wouldn’t be joining but more about which franchise alums might be there.
The series Hunt for Love is just another in the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff world. The premise of the original show followed the unique 90 Day Fiancé (K-1) visa process that allows overseas engaged individuals to travel to the United States to live with their partners.
Hunt for Love is the latest iteration featuring alums from the franchise, a couple of whom Cortney was worried might be on the show.
Cortney Reardanz was worried 90 Day Fiancé’s Big Ed would be on Hunt for Love
“I was worried Ed “Big Ed” Brown or Angela (Deem) were going to be there and fighting and instigating stuff the whole time,” Cortney admitted. “I was a little nervous about that.”
It’s a legitimate concern. Where Big Ed goes, drama follows. His time on the show was hardly harmonious. And Angela Deem was no different. She was incredibly controversial and did a lot to stir the pot, so to speak. So it’s understandable Cortney would be nervous they’d be making an appearance.
However, her fears were unfounded. She was joined instead by different 90 Day Fiancé franchise alums including Rob Warne, Colt Johnson, Chantel Everett, Usman “Sojaboy” Umar, and more. So without the impending threat of drama, Cortney was ready to focus on finding love.
“I’m 34. I feel like I’ve been trying on my own to find love, so why not let the professionals help me find love?” she asked with a smile. And she felt the show was serious as she went through a series of exams and matchmaking workshops before filming began.
“I didn’t know there’d be so many workshops,” she admitted. “It was a lot of work. It was a lot.”
