The Valley’s Danny Booko Hits Back Against Jason Caperna’s ‘Responsibility’ Claims

Another day, another friendship on The Valley crumbling to pieces. Co-stars Danny Booko and Jason Caperna have been seemingly good friends ever since the premiere season. But now in Season 2, all of this has gone downhill.

It all started with Episode 3, where the cast discussed a controversial Halloween party. It was at this event that Danny became drunk and acted inappropriately toward both Jasmine Goode and her girlfriend Melissa Corelli.

In Episode 7, Jasmine remained frazzled about the encounter and felt as though his initial apology was a fake. Coming to her aid is Jason, who thought talking to his bro could fix the situation. But alas, that sit-down did not go as well as he hoped it to.

Danny Booko is facing irresponsible drinking claims on The Valley

In The Valley Season 2 Episode 7, Jason revists the Jasmine and Melissa incident, and confronts Danny about his drunken behavior. He agrees with Jasmine’s position that their co-star hasn’t done enough to own up to his mistake.

“I still don’t feel like you took full responsibility one hundred percent,” Jason explains in the episode.

It quickly turns into a shouting argument, with Danny feeling like he’s under attack.

“I’ve gone to Jasmine numerous times and apologized. I’m going to do it again. I just don’t understand why you are coming at me implying that I have a drinking problem. That’s just not cool, man.”

Also present during this verbal altercation is Kristen Doute’s fiancé Luke Broderick, who doesn’t say a word. Probably for the best.

Ultimately, the conversation gets them nowhere, with the blowup only furthering the distance between them. Time is still of the essence for Danny to make things right with Jasmine, though.

The Valley is available to stream on Peacock. The show streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
