Although Furness gave no comments on the matter during their separation, she recently released a statement, taking a jab at her estranged husband. A source recently told Daily Mail that the Marvel star felt “blindsided” after reading Furness’ statement.

According to the Daily Mail, the statement read, “It’s a profound wound that cuts deep.” It continued, “However I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe… is always working FOR us.” She also expressed her “compassion” for those who have “traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal.”
An insider told the Daily Mail that Jackman felt “extremely disappointed after reading what his ex had said.” The person added that “there was no stipulation that she could not address this.” However, there was reportedly “an unwritten understanding that she would not trash him to the press.”
The source also stated, “She got around this by not naming him – instead focusing on how she felt.” The person then talked about how Furness finally landed a stage where the actor could finally file for divorce since the ex-couple parted ways back in 2023. The insider claimed, “Hugh knows that he cannot change anything.” Moreover, the individual said that it has been
