Despite the title, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives isn’t made up of only married women. There are a few cast members who are single, one being Layla Taylor. She was married before, to Clayton Wessel, for three years. The two welcomed two children together, and ultimately divorced in 2023.
After her ceremonial divorce party in the premiere season, Taylor came back as taken in Season 2. Specifically, she had multiple scenes with her then-boyfriend Cameron Jolley.
Fast forward to now aka only a few months later, their romance is no more. Has Taylor already moved on from him? She just gave an update.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Layla Taylor is putting her “kids first” and “job second
Layla recently confirmed that she is in fact single. And, that dating whilst being a single mom, in addition to her busy reality TV life, hasn’t exactly been easy.
“I think right now I don’t do a good job balancing it. And if my priorities are going to be anywhere, it’s to my kids first and then my job second. So I don’t really date right now, but it’s hard for sure, she told PEOPLE.
Her co-star Jessi Ngatikaura confirmed that Season 3 is already filming. So, unless she finds her Mr. Right in the coming days, Taylor will be single throughout the upcoming season. It doesn’t seem like being alone is bothering her, though.
Just the other day she celebrated living the single life on social media. Joined by Mormon Wives co-stars Miranda Hope, Taylor Frankie Paul, and Kate Racker, she did a now-viral TikTok video to share their elation of being single together.
