The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is a borderline misleading title. Over the course of two seasons, fans have seen multiple marriages hop aboard the struggle bus. One in particular is Jen Affleck and her husband Zac Affleck.
After the debut season, it was soon announced that the two separated. But, after Jen revealed her third pregnancy, the couple decided to work on their relationship and steer clear of divorce.
Nowadays they seem to be in a good place, which is probably why they can now vent out some of their previous hardships that nearly tore them apart.

Both Jen and Zac were recent guests on Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast. It was during the segment that Zac revealed an unexpected detail about their growing family.
“We had one and then a second baby back to back. Jen — like, six months after she gave birth — she got pregnant again with her second baby. I got tricked into it. She took out her IUD without telling me,” he shared in the May 28 episode.
You’d assume Zac learning about their surprise baby would have been what caused a strain in their marriage. However, Jen made sure to make clear that she was the one who initiated their separation.
“I basically told him when I was in a place where I want to walk away from the relationship, ‘I’m doing this. This is what I feel right about. You can come along with me. You can support me in this or you can walk away.’ I was not opposed to divorce. I was truly doing what I felt was right.”
