After receiving a pardon, Julie Chrisley is focused on the important things in life, like what color she should dye her hair. The Chrisley Knows Best alum is enjoying her first taste of freedom after being set free from her seven-year prison sentence, and her son, Chase Chrisley, just revealed the plans for her precious locks of hair.

When the POTUS pardons were announced, Savannah Chrisley rushed to Florida to pick up Todd Chrisley from the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola. Her first reaction to her dad was how “jacked” he supposedly looked.
Meanwhile, Chase went to pick up Julie from the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. His initial reaction was how his mom’s platinum blonde hair transformed into a dusty brown color with grey roots. It turns out they don’t have Clairol in prison.
Although cameras are already rolling for the family’s newly announced Lifetime series, Julie isn’t rushing to the salon. Her son told Entertainment Tonight that his 52-year-old mother is embracing her new look.
“My mother’s an angel. She’s still a beautiful woman,” Chase claimed. “Her hair’s darker now. I’m like, ‘Mama, we gotta go back platinum blonde.’ And she’s like, ‘I’m not doing that.’”
So, when the Chrisleys return to our screens this year, we’ll see Todd’s jacked muscles and Julie’s greying hair. Ahead of the new series, which will follow the Chrisleys’ release, Chase teased the moments his parents saw each other and their new, post-prison looks.
“They both just burst into tears, and my dad wrapped his arms around my mom and I don’t think he’s let go,” Chase recalled. “And I don’t think he’ll ever let go.”
