Part 2 of the Sister Wives tell-all just aired, and fans were left reeling. Once again, Kody Brown chose to paint himself as a victim. But his first three wives made sure they also told their side of the story. Here’s what happened in Part 2 that left fans gobsmacked.
Janelle Brown doesn’t like Kody Brown or Robyn Brown
Now, Sister Wives fans had some sort of an idea that no one really enjoyed Robyn Brown or Kody’s company. The couple has been rubbing their true love in everyone’s faces for years now. And frankly, Janelle Brown is over their PDA packed segments. During her time on the couch, Janelle noted, “I can still be very friendly with Kody. I never really had much of a relationship with Robyn.” The 56-year-old added, “I don’t have any hate or hard feelings or anything. I just don’t really want to know them.” The revelation came as quite a surprise since, for the most part, Janelle has always sat on the fence.
This marks one of the first times the mother of six has publicly shared her opinion about Robyn. Janelle noted, “I could sit and talk to them. That would be fine. If it was all superficial. I would be fine if we, you know, I would talk to them. That’s no big deal. I’m just not going to be buddies with them or, like, go to lunch with them.” When asked about why she wouldn’t consider being friends, Janelle stated, “I don’t need it. I don’t want it. I’m not looking for it,” Janelle revealed, insisting that there wasn’t a lack of trust, but more a difference of personalities.” She went on to add, “I really just don’t like them. I don’t want to know them. I don’t want to be friends with them. I just don’t like them.”
Janelle Brown calls Kody Brown out
It seems Janelle had a lot to say during Part 2 of the reunion. During Season 19, Sister Wives fans noticed that Kody attempted to rewrite history regarding his first three marriages. Janelle noted, “I don’t ever remember him being this mean. Never. He never was this mean. I’ve never seen him be so mean.” In Janelle’s opinion, Kody has been trying to hurt people for the last few years. She told fans, “I feel like it’s a smokescreen,” and he only ever wanted to protect Robyn.
Janelle had thoughtful insight into the family dynamics. She told the host, “I feel like a lot of people want to pin the blame on Robyn. And I don’t think that she is necessarily innocent in this. I mean, it takes two. In a lot of ways, he’s made himself even more villainous, I guess to kind of take away some of the blame from her.” However, Janelle doesn’t try to compare the family’s beginnings to where they ended up now. She noted, “It’s really hard to compare who we were then and how our relationships developed with who this Kody 2.0 is that gets to marry Robyn.”
Kody Brown wants to vacation with David Woolley
Stop the presses! It seems Kody feels like he could have a friendly relationship with Christine Brown’s new husband, David Woolley. The two men had rarely interacted. But David has made sure to take his wife’s side and even take little digs at the polygamous patriarch. So it was weird to hear that Kody would be interested in a “guys’ trip.” During his time on the Sister Wives tell-all Kody shared that he thinks David is probably “a decent guy.”
After being asked about a possible double date, the father of 18 told the host, “I don’t know. I think personally, I think I’m very forgiving and I think that’d be really easy for me.” Kody explained, “Here’s the thing. I’ve had conversations with David since that just was kind of like I enjoyed his company and, I had a dirty thought. I thought David and I should go on a guys’ trip together. And then I went, no, that would just be so uncool to Christine. I just thought that would absolutely not be fair in any way.”
