The Valley Cast Changes: Who’s Most Likely to Leave After Season 2?

In this humble writer’s opinion, The Valley is the best thing since sliced bread. The network needed a new series to uplift followers, and the spinoff was just the ticket. With a mix of OGs and new faces, viewers are getting an insider view of how the former WeHo servers are living life away from the hustle and bustle. But with ratings hitting an all-time low, some fans feel that the cast might get a shake-up after Season 2.

Why is The Valley cast likely to change after Season 2?

Sometimes, as fans, we have to face the music before it catches us by surprise. Allegedly, The Valley is not doing well with ratings. The numbers show that just 390,000 people tuned in when the series aired its last episode. Season 1 premiered with 780,000 views in March 2024. A source told The U.S. Sun, “The show cannot keep going on a downward trajectory like this. There will 100% be changes to season 3, if it does get picked up for the third season.” But I question the ratings since it doesn’t state if the ratings from the online streaming platforms are taken into consideration. Frankly, there has been a lot of online engagement around The Valley. Historically, Peacock has had an enormous viewer demographic. The network even announced a Shahs of Sunset version, so it is clear that the format works.

But Bravo has also been quick in recent years to change up the situation when it comes to a series. We’ve seen this time and time again. Maybe ratings drop a little, and then producers are in a panic to bring in some fresh blood. But there is a chance that a cast change could be positive. For example, they could bring in Michelle Saniei and Zack Wickham’s partners for a more permanent role. But only time will tell.

Who’s most likely to leave the show?

I’d bet dollars to donuts that Jax Taylor will leave the show. I don’t think he wants to, but I do think he will be given a choice to bow out gracefully or be cut. In all honesty, The Valley has been doing just fine without him at the helm. In fact, his cringey home video recordings from rehab are hard to stomach. Brittany Cartwright could easily have her own storyline away from her soon-to-be ex-husband. Cameras could catch her restarting her life in the dating world and acting as a single mother.

I also think Luke Broderick could jump ship. He’s made it clear more than once that he is not the reality TV kind of guy. Bless Luke, though, because I think he is only still hanging around out of love for Kristen Doute. But Luke would be very happy retreating into the woods with his beloved dogs and small family. Although I had to admit Luke is growing on me for Season 2. Watching his face when Kristen shares the gossip is hysterical.

Who should definitely leave The Valley cast after Season 2?

As for who should definitely leave the cast of The Valley, I’d argue Jason Caperna. The man is a lawyer, well-educated, and above petty drama. I really liked him on Season 1, but somewhere along the way, Season 2 has painted him into somewhat of a bad guy. The father of one is taking the lead from his wife, Janet Caperna, and causing petty drama, rifts, and is a vibe killer. Instead of seeing himself as a puppet, Jason is more than happy to be the bad guy. And I think that will ruin his image eventually. If Jason goes, that also means Janet will go. And while I don’t love Janet, she is giving a lot to the storyline.

If I were Michelle, I would also think about leaving. The moment Jesse Lally inferred that she was a high-end escort would have been the end for me. Nothing is worth having a public divorce and bitter words exchanged. I’d keep my peace, organic honey, and hot new boyfriend out of the limelight and stick to the Runyon walks. For now, viewers will have to see how the rest of the season plays out before any changes can be made official.

The Valley is available to stream on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
