On June 4, Brooklyn Beckham took to Instagram to share images from his Glamour Germany photoshoot with his wife, Nicola Peltz, amid the family feud. However, the highlight of the pictures was Brooklyn’s tattoos, with two important ones not visible. The 26-year-old had two inks dedicated to his mother, Victoria Beckham.
In Brooklyn’s shirtless pictures, the “mama’s boy” tattoo on the left side of his chest seemed covered up with a new set of flower tattoos. As per Page Six, the flowers appeared to have been inspired by Peltz’s bridal bouquet. Additionally, his heart-designed “Mum” tattoo on his left arm is concealed by a dragon and flower designs. Netizens seemingly interpreted Brooklyn’s tattoo cover-up as a dig at the Beckham matriarch, Victoria, reigniting the family feud rumors.
Meanwhile, a source close to the model told the outlet there was no intention to conceal those tattoos. “Anyone can look at the photo and see ‘mama’s boy’ is still right there,” the insider mentioned. “It was never covered up.”
While the buzz seems to continue, PEOPLE revealed the reason behind Brooklyn’s absence from his father’s 50th birthday. The source shared that the model “didn’t want to be in the same room as” Kim Turnbull, Romeo Beckham’s girlfriend, who was once linked with him. Despite telling David, the former footballer “opted to have Kim there over Nicola.” A second source stated, “Brooklyn and Kim know each other from the past, and his family knows he’s not comfortable around her.”
They added that Brooklyn and his wife flew to attend David’s birthday. They were in the city to take him for an intimate dinner or to attend one of his other parties. However, the couple was shut out and “stayed for six days trying to see” the former footballer. An insider close to the Beckhams said that the couple could have attended several parties where Turnbull wasn’t present.
