The Valley has been through the wringer as of late. And the rumor mill has not gotten a chance to rest just yet. However, viewers are learning that there might indeed be a cast shake-up. However, this is just hearsay, as Bravo has yet to confirm that this is one hundred percent fact. But here’s what we know so far.

The Valley cast could change for Season 3

Season 2 of The Valley has been quite contentious. And while viewers love the juicy drama, sometimes it feels like more than they can handle. Bravo cameras have been following Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s divorce, and it has not been pretty. The last episode insinuated that Jax had bugged his home. Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei are not exactly doing their best with separation either. And Janet Caperna is leading the charge at trying to take down the Bookos and Jasmine Goode. Who knew the voice of reason would end up being Zack Wickham

A source told OK! Magazine that producers have been actively “casting.” It appears that lingering tensions are causing a bit of commotion, and Janet’s issues with everyone on the cast aren’t sitting well. The source noted, “The Valley is casting. The reason they’re casting is because they don’t want the show to end up like Vanderpump Rules, where you have a cast that won’t film with each other. Right now, you have Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, who are going through a bitter divorce, and you have Jesse and Michelle, who are also going through a brutal split. It wouldn’t make sense for any of these estranged couples to go on trips together or spend time together going forward.”

Which cast members are safe on The Valley?

But before The Valley fans get too riled up about their beloved cast members, some are safe from the axe. The insider revealed that “Jesse is not at risk for getting cut. Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick are also safe as are Danny and Nia [Sanchez] Booko.” But there are some OGs who are walking on thin ice. The source added, “As far as Jax and Brittany go, production isn’t sure if they will have them return or not. With Janet feuding with almost everyone on the cast, she’s losing ground with them and that’s a clear problem, which could result in her also not returning. They’re looking at all options for casting.”

Allegedly, Bravo producers have interviewed quite a lot of familiar faces. Fans might be annoyed to hear that “Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz have been interviewed. They also have talked to Ariana Madix’s brother, Jeremy Madix. There’s also a possibility Michelle’s boyfriend Aaron Nosler’s ex-girlfriend could join the cast. Jesse’s new girlfriend, Lacy Nicole, is also a contender.” The new mix of possibilities could be interesting, but in reality, we could be trading one villain for another.

Janet Caperna’s role on The Valley is up in the air after Season 2

Evidently, Janet is not seeing eye to eye with her cast members. And this is a big problem. Janet, who has been accused of being a fan of the show and somehow infiltrating the former SUR group, is going in hard on Danny Booko. In a recent episode, she tried to out Danny as having a drinking problem, but it didn’t go down well. Now she and Jason Caperna are in a heated war of the words exchange with Jasmine over a rumor she didn’t even bring up. It’s to empathize with Janet, and many fans are finding they can’t get behind her villain narrative.

Without a doubt, Season 2 of The Valley has been emotional. The group as a whole is going through some major life changes, and producers are worried that they won’t recover from the current rollercoaster. However, the silver lining to their worry cloud is that viewers love the show. Fans want to see it succeed and are willing to get behind new cast changes if it is for the betterment of the series. Now we just need to hear from Bravo’s camp on what exactly those changes might be.

The Valley is available to stream on Peacock or Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
