Romeo Beckham and his model girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, have called it quits. The former couple reportedly broke up in May after being together for seven months. The split comes after the duo attended David Beckham’s 50th birthday party together on May 3.
Victoria, Cruz, and Harper were present at the grand family celebration as well. However, the 22-year-old’s brother, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were not in attendance, fueling rumors of a potential rift between the siblings.
An insider exclusively told Us Weekly, “Romeo and Kim did split because of the family drama,” emphasizing that the breakup “was mutual.” The source further added that due to the current family dynamics, there “was just too much pressure and tension looming over” the former couple. Hence, they mutually decided to break up.
The pair first confirmed their relationship in November 2024 with a series of photos on Romeo’s Instagram Stories. Turnbull also attended Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show soon after alongside her beau. However, the drama “put a lot of strain on them and there was no path forward.” Although the breakup is “unfortunate,” the source added that “family comes first for Romeo.”
Prior to dating Romeo, Turnball had dated Rocco Ritchie, the son of Madonna and Guy Ritchie. On the other hand, the soccer player was in a long-term relationship with model Mia Regan before the two went their separate ways in February 2024.
