The June 10 episode of Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner’s Giggly Squad podcast began with a moment of silence.
Afterwards, Paige admitted to some insecurity prior to finally pulling the ripcord on Summer House. “You know when you make a drastic switch in your life and before you do it, you’re like, ‘But how am I going to feel when I do it? What if I regret it?’ I was dealing with that,” Paige confessed. “I just feel like I gave all I could give.”

For her part, co-host Hannah waxed poetic, describing Paige’s exit from the show as “the end of a beautiful era.”
Though she was initially unsure, now that it’s done Paige says she feels “so aligned” with her decision.
“You can Tom Brady it if you want to,” Hannah joked. Of course, Hannah referred to the former NFL quarterback who retired after 20 years with the New England Patriots. Only 40 days later, the seven-time Super Bowl winner changed his mind and returned to football.
“No, I feel good,” Paige laughed, adding, “It’s kinda … like graduating college … You’re like, ‘Oh, this is sad, but I want to go to the next step. I’m excited.’”
Now that she’s done it, Paige has to decide what her next move is. “I’m starting my summer [without someone saying] to me, ‘What story would you like to tell this summer?’” Paige reflected. “What do people do in the summer?”
The day after the Summer House Season 9 Reunion aired on June 4, Paige announced her exit from the show. “Being a part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable … I’ll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.”
Paige concluded by thanking fans and her fellow castmates for her journey, promising, “You haven’t seen the last of me.”
