Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s co-parenting relationship regarding their kids appears to be losing momentum after their divorce. The former couple, who split in 2016 and finalized their divorce eight years later in December last year, have been seemingly firing shots at each other.
Reportedly, since their separation, their children don’t share the same bond with the 61-year-old, who blames his ex-wife for their behavior. A source now revealed that he wants her to “get a better grip” over the kids, but she remains unbothered by his blame game.

Star magazine learned that the tensions between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt involving their kids have been escalating since their divorce. Some of their children, most notably Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, have drifted apart from their dad, siding with their mom in her year-long and contentious divorce and custody battle. However, the 21-year-old’s recent shenanigans, including his trip to the strip club last month, have sparked worries among his parents.
The mom of six has found herself in a predicament concerning her second-oldest’s choices. “Like any parent, she worries that Pax will fall into the wrong crowd or drink too much,” a source told the publication, despite Jolie’s pride in her hands-off parenting. However, Pitt believes things are spiraling out of control and urged her to “get a better grip” over them. Nonetheless, allegedly, she won’t listen to him and remains impervious to his “concerns.”
The source continued that Pax, one of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s older kids, had sufficient restrictions early on. She reportedly imposed limitations on the 21-year-old “when he was younger,” and now, “there’s not much she can do.” On top of that, she “did plenty worse” back in her day, doesn’t want to come “across like a hypocrite,” and has her unique way of parenting.
As for Pitt, the insider claimed he “still loves him [Pax] dearly,” but seemingly blames their mom for giving them “way too much freedom way too soon.” An insider previously informed the Daily Mail that the 61-year-old star has been upset about their children’s upbringing and has failed to improve his bond with them.
