A new report has hinted that Britney Spears’ team has been questioning Jayden’s intentions amid their mother-son bonding time. The Daily Mail reported that the 43-year-old recently gifted her youngest a new Mercedes worth over $200,000. While the singer has been spoiling her teen, the outlet exclusively learned from a source that her team is “definitely worried about her relationship with Jayden.”
The source explained that “everybody is wary” that the aspiring musician is “using” his pop star mom. Jayden could allegedly be seeking “financial gains” and to further his “career.” They added, “The fear is this could hurt her and be the last straw for her.” Following the reunion, Jayden reportedly returned to California in November and grew close with Spears.
Meanwhile, her older son, Sean Preston, stayed back in Hawaii. This is where the siblings had been living with their father, Kevin Federline, since 2023. Another insider also told the outlet that the singer hopes to form a similar bond with Preston as she did with her youngest. The 19-year-old has reportedly remained hesitant regarding the same.
The new report comes days after Spears gave a rare glimpse of her quality time with Jayden. The pop star shared a candid video of the duo on a drive. They were seemingly in the car she had gifted him. She also expressed her surreal feeling in the Instagram Reel’s caption.
The mom of two wrote, “He is 6’3 and his hands are so big now !!!” She questioned, “How long am I going to be in shock ???” The singer then exclaimed, “It’s so incredibly crazy, it’s not even funny !!!” She stated that she was feeling “blessed.” However, Spears also added, “Just please be careful with my heart too !!!”
