Imrul Hassan is exiting the Summer House building. He joined this series in Season 9. The experience was fun, albeit a lot to take in for this sex-positive new star. Cue him not staying on this cast for a second run via Season 10. Thankfully, from what Imrul recently posted, his exit appears to be his choice.
Imrul Hassan won’t return to the Summer House cast after Season 9
Imrul took to his Instagram Stories to announce his departure from Summer House. This series is losing some good ones ahead of Season 10.
In his post, Imrul explained that he meant to make the reveal earlier, however, the world is on fire. As is his life, which recently added several new enemies to his roster via his showings at his first (and now only) Summer House reunion. But now, the timing is right for Imrul to speak.
Imrul noted that he “decided not to return for another season,” joking that his decision might feel “shocking” for some. However, Imrul found filming to be an “incredible opportunity” where he “had a lot of fun.” Not wanting to “drag this out,” Imrul thanked his fans for their support, not only from this series but also with his foundation, English Schools for Generational Change.
Several of his costars have dedicated funds to his cause, which Imrul also acknowledged in his exit-themed post. To date, his fundraiser has secured over $20K to help children in remote villages learn English. Well done, Imrul.
Closing out his post, Imrul noted that filming was a “good experience” that he “would recommend.” Then, he forever signed off with his signature, “Imrul Beast.”
Summer House is now streaming on Peacock in the US and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
