Who are Charlie Zakkour’s parents?
Charlie Zakkour’s parents are private investor Anwar Zakkour, and art collector Elizabeth Williams, both of whom have appeared alongside Charlie on Bravo’s Next Gen NYC.
On Next Gen NYC Episode 3, Charlie revealed that his mom raised him until he was ten. She struggled to provide a stable home environment, so he went to live with his dad. According to Charlie, his relationship with his dad has felt like a season of Succession.
“My dad is the dad from that show. Just how badly one of the sons wants his approval and how little he gives a f*ck,” Charlie ranted.
One look at Anwar’s resume explains why he has such high expectations. It also explains why Charlie’s friends act like they have no clue what he does for a living. The kid is just super rich thanks to his dad.
According to Anwar’s LinkedIn, he’s been working as a private investor for the past five years. Prior to that, he worked executive-level jobs at major banks. For example, at Bank of America, he was the Global Head of Tech, Media, and Telecom. After that, he went to work as the Chief Investment Officer for a firm in Dubai.
With such a prestigious banking background and high expectations for his son, we can’t help but wonder how Anwar reacted to the news that Charlie was right outside the crypto torture house when one of the suspects got arrested. He surely has some thoughts about this whole reality TV thing, too.
